Hello members of thefreepokerroom.com

May i bring your attention to a ruling that is in place...

Multiple accounts are strictly forbidden, IP checks will be done at all times, all tables WILL be monitored continuously, if any members are found to be using two or more accounts at the same time,(IE playing or communicating on two or more tables at once), they will be banned instantly.

thank you for your cooperation.

you misunderstand friend, QUOTE.:
''if any members are found to be using two or more accounts at the same time''

meaning, if a single person is found to playing two or more accounts at the same time, they will be banned.

Wonka. Some people will have more that one computer in their home with different members of the family some times wanting to play on your site at the same time. They will then have the same ip address but are not actually doing anything wrong. I only say this as this was my situation in the uk. You may end up banning people who are just trying to have a fun night of poker at the same time as other members of their house hold.

Hello mate,
I understand your concerns, and there are a small majority of people on here that have a number of accounts to the same IP address, (me included, my son). BUT i would never use both accounts at the same time to benefit my game, as I'm sure most people would'nt do it, BUT there are a few members that do.!!!!

This is what i and the mods are trying to stop. i hope you and all other members can understand.
If any members feel they have been banned unfairly because of this ruling, then i will look in each banning personally. But MOST of the time the mods can tell if they are the same person, we have a set formula which is 98% correct, so as i said the majority of players have nothing to be concerned about..

your friend

Hi Wonka,
The last bit is good to hear, because I created an account for my oldest kid (11y) so he can stop burning my hard won chips away in a flash from my account. I won't even go on about the costs of teaching a 6 years old to play. Lol.

on the main page, where the tables are listed, yes it will show your name for a short while. it doesnt mean you are at the tables. if you were at the tables after you logged out you would most likely get a ban for not standing. so dont worry about it, technical issue thats all.

if, however, ur room mate has JOINED a table, and your sat at that table, but your not playing, then pass it off as a one off, if it happens constantly, logout, refresh the main page (ones with tables listed) a few times, then clear ur browser cookies and stuff.
