There is a new pot limit table in the poker room now. Or rather it is one of the no limit tables that now is pot limit. I'll leave it like this for a while and see if the table gets popular, otherwise I'll change it back to a normal no limit table.

What is the pot limit for this table? People, including myself, seem to be getting confused when going to play on it.

Emil, please, please, please can you look into the under proportionate blinds. The omaha poker is now being ruined by players using up the 3 preflop blinds by all raising $10, so all 10 players get to see the flop every hand...If their hand is marginal they will raise $10 thus inhibiting a player with a good hand which is not in the spirit of poker. They dont appear to be able to fold a bad hand preflop as thay should.
please see thread below. this is the 3rd time I have appealed to you for an increase to the blind and your response would be appreciated.

This is excellent for people who are new to the World of poker. I always recommend limit poker to newbies...because getting experience through action is integral to learn how to play.

Personally, I'd add something to the site which points new people to the limit table.

It's a whole different way to play -because bluffing doesn't work on a limit table. If you have 2/9 or aces in the hole, your raise is not going to represent a better (or worse) hand.

ynot

Can I ask how many hands you consider good enough to go all-in pre flop?

EMIL...you doubled the buy in amount on all tables from $500 to $1000 and left the blinds the same..??? Does anybody play on the pot limit table? I don't, although 3 are there now.

HIRWAUNJAN....I don't usually like to go all in but it doesn't always depend on my hand..there's also what the other players are doing, is it pre-flop or after, how much in my stack, is it an all in call or my push, how much will be in the secondary pots etc etc etc.

I play on the pot limit table. Today I was the first to join the table but within 2 minutes people started joining once they had someone to play with and it got to a full table pretty quickly. I think there should always be one pot limit table.

ynot....so my point is that ppl like ourselves think about their cards etc before going all in, lots of players go all in regardless hoping to get lucky.

With this happening you can either just keep folding or use the $10 raises to try and get a game.

What might help is if there is a time limit or something similar before you can rejoin the table.

What do you think?

HirwauJan...I think a bigger blind will help both scenarios. But there will always be a few that like to go all in regardless, I don't mind folding as there will be a new hand coming my way in a minute or two. A rejoin time would work but "bums on seats" is also important for the site.

Blade....I was beginning to wonder whether I was the only one that is bored to tears with the 10, 20, 30, 40 pre-flop scenario. Where's the jeopardy? where's the risk? Not to mention going round and round the table all the time. It's just a cop out for those that don't want to have to fold if someone bets. (in my opinion)
