Well i mainly listen 2 rap and i throw in a bit of rock every now and then.
But, new music just sucks! i mean the lyrics are bad, the artists sold out for money, the record labels don't care, there just greedy pigs i mean u have to go 2 people who arent mainstream to find GOOD music.
Modern rock is bad, Rap nowadays is horrible, Pop still sucks, Country probably has its share of radio-play sell-outs.
Its like, for me, when im 45 and im driving to a baseball game with my son or daughter, and i wanna play a lil Liscended To Ill, from the Beastie boys, or American Idiot from Green Day, they might have to sit me thru Panic Of The Disco's 30 year anniversry CD.
So what are your thoughts on new music?

the ONLY GOOD MUSIC is music from the 60's 70's and some 80's the wife made me put that in about the 80's

There is a point to that...
Once they figured out that kids have more 'disposable' money -that to market music straight to them was a better way to go...since teens have a very high percentage in the music market revenue.
This is not to say that music marketed to teens is necessarily bad, only to say that music gets cranked out in record time and a musician's career is substantially more short compared to long standing bands of yore.
It's a corporate machine like any other big money making enterprise; and we all know that mass production of anything does have a negative effect to the quality of anything.

that stuff they make these days,i would not class as music at all.

eighties rock rules and has been made from the heart for the soul
may i just add Queen still rocks here!!
and most of the music they ..erm...have these days are covers of 80's numbers anyway
