I didn't think I would be able to fit anymore in the first page of the first thread, so here's part 2 of more hours in the life of pregnant willy wonka lol.
1pm
We arrived at the baby store, willy could hardly contain his excitement, he walked very quickly inside. His eyes brightened up at the sight of all the baby stuff, he looked at me then said, "What's that look for?" Before I could reply he looked in the direction that my eyes were glaring at. "OMG" He shouted, "Barney bedding, toys, clothes and and and a HUGE Barney the dinosaur soft toy."
"Oh god" I said to myself
"kimmy come on, have a look at this. We have to get all of this Barney stuff for Charlie, then we will have 2 rooms that have a Barney theme woohoo."
As he was telling the shop assistant what bits he wanted I was trying to think of a way out. Then my mobile rang. "Hello, oh hey hovis what's up? Oh you need me at the pub." I looked over at willy "Yes hovis that's not a problem I can get away, be there shortly." I walked over to willy, "Honey I have to go to the pub, hovis needs some help in there, you'll be ok getting the baby things won't you?"
"Of course I will my love i'm having a ball picking out everything, you go to the pub & i'll meet you there."
2pm
Willy is still at the baby store, he's already spent a fortune on Barney things but he wants more. I think it's mainly for his benefit, not Charlie's. He arranges for everything to be delivered & leaves the store grinning like a cheshire cat. As he waddles down the road to find a taxi he smells a familiar smell.... "mmmmmm Barney burgers, i've gotta have one."
Once he's finished he goes outside & finds a taxi, as it's pulling out he realises he needs to pee really badly, "Oh not now Charlie please."
The taxi driver looks at him, "How long have you got left?" he asks.
"About 2 weeks, I can't wait for it to be over with, i'm suffering so much, but our little Charlie is going to be perfect & worth it all." Then willy looks up at the taxi driver & notices that he's eating a watermelon. "ermmm ermmm can you let me out here please, i've forgotten to pick something up."
The taxi stops & willy quickly leaps out of it & breaths a sigh of relief.
3pm
He finally makes it to the pub looking worn out & upset.
"What's wrong honey?" I asked
"ermmm nothing i'm better now just had a little fright that's all, lets just forget about it." He goes to the bar, "hovis can I have a nice cold glass of lemonade with loads of ice please."
"Of course willy you go & sit down & I will bring it right over."
Then Tina & kahuna walk in, willy takes one glance at them & says to me "I will meet you at home love, i've just remembered the delivery is due."
Before I could say anything he was gone out the door, i've never seen him move so quickly.
4pm
I arrived home to find the hallway completely over run with boxes & bags from the baby store, Oh god why did I leave him at the store on his own? I thought to myself.
"Willy where are you?" I called out.
"I'm upstairs in Charlie's room, wait til you see what I have got." As I was stepping over boxes to get to the stairs I heard willy giggling to himself.
I walked into Charlie's room & my mouth dropped open. He looked at me with the happiest face & said "Look at all of this Barney stuff, i've even got a Barney pram & cot I didn't realise they done any of it, woohoo Charlie is going to be so spoilt."
I sighed & said "Oh yes our little Charlie is going to love this, do you want a cuppa?"
"Yip in dee dee all this shopping has made me so thirsty."
5pm
Willy is a bit tired & hungry after showing me some of the things he's bought. I helped him up from the floor & say, "Why don't you have a soak in the bath you've had a long day & i'll make some tea."
As he's still looking wide eyed at all of the things on the floor he replies, "Yip it has been a very long day, Charlie is really taking it out of me now, but it will all be worth it." He feels a big kick in his belly, "kimmy feel this Charlie is kicking again, it's really strong."
I put my hand on his belly, "wow it feels like we've got a little footballer in there." Then his belly started moving, "Looks like Charlie is doing his final turn getting ready for the birth."
Willy looks at me a bit puzzled, "Do ya think he/she will leave my bladder alone now?"
I laughed, "awww bless, not a chance honey, if anything it will be worse because Charlie will be resting on it now instead of squeezing it. Come on i'll put your bath on."
"Oh great just what I need, more time on the loo. Ok love i'll put some of this away first."
6pm
Tea is nearly ready, I called up to willy "Have you finished in the bath yet?" I got no response, "willy?" I walked up to the bathroom & noticed he hadn't even been in the bath yet, I go up to the bedroom & see him looking at himself in the mirror. "Tea is ready, how come you haven't been in the bath yet?"
He turns to me & says, "I was just about to but then I noticed something that was never there before. Look at these stretch marks, will they ever go?" He's looking at me with the saddest look on his face, "Well?"
I walked over to him, "They will fade over time don't worry."
"Fade? Oh so they don't actually go then huh? He storms off into the bathroom.
"Come on willy come downstairs & have something to eat."
"No i'm going to sit in here where you can't see my horrible body, you might aswell leave me now cos I aint gonna get rid of these horrible marks on my belly."
I knew there will be no reasoning with him while he was like this so I went downstairs.
7pm
He finally comes down, he looks like he's been crying this whole time. I went over to him & put my arms around him, "Willy you know I loves ya no matter what, I will never leave you just because of a few stretch marks on your belly."
"Thanks love that makes me feel better, but I can't help feeling horrible about the way I look at the moment, this pregnancy has really changed my body."
"That's the joys of being pregnant honey, you will forget all about it when you have Charlie in your arms, then it will be a whole load of new worries for both of us. Do you fancy chilling on the sofa tonight with a film?"
He smiled widely "Oh yes that would be lovely."
"Ok you pick one out while I get your food."
8pm
Just as we were sitting down to watch the film the doorbell rang, "hmmm I wonder who that could be!" I got up to answer it & to my surprise Tina was stood there, "Tina how did you find out where we lived?"
"hovis told me, look I haven't come to cause trouble I want to make peace with willy & apologise for my part in the watermelon thing. Is he here?"
Before I could answer willy came to the door, "what do you want? Don't you think you have upset me enough?"
"Willy I have come to say sorry & hope that we could start all over?"
He looked at her with suspicion on his face, "Now why would I believe you? You & kahuna have put me through hell this last month with the watermelon jokes, I can't even look at a watermelon now, I freak out if I see someone eating one & not only that i'm having terrible nightmares."
Tina looks at him & says, "I mean it, no more watermelon jokes, I have brought Barney burgers & chocolate as a peace keep."
Before she could say anymore he takes her hand & says "Come in then friend, you're apology is accepted."
