Hi dedicated users too TheFreePokerRoom, if many users agree, and Emil accepts, I can negotiate a Committee team. These people will be helpers of moderators and Admin, although no banning powers will be given.
The Committee can decide on whether a ban should be made or not, or, muzzle or ban. Etc. They also can decide some new idea's, or normal users can ask them, and they can decide at meetings.
So, how are users going too tell who is a Committee Member?
Well, Committee members will have CM (Committee Member) At the front of their name. Eg - CMGrandeMaster
What can they do?
They will deal with your problems, like. Siblings, deaths, and worries.
They will also grab your ideas.
So, if you think this is a good idea, I can start asking people whether they wish too join.
10 members recquired. If possible, 15.

Sounds like a good idea GM, what would be required of the CM's with regard to how often they need to be at the tables etc...

gm... this is a great idea, and a fantastic oppertunity for mr wonka to prove himself,
'welcome to mr wonka's couch', i think its got a kind of buzz about it, go on gm ask mr wonka to join the committee, you know it's the right thing to do.
ive changed, honest, ask keywest or smackdown i never swear or be crude, im a nice kind, chocolate loving, church going, law abiding person....honest .
i don't hold out much hope though, i feel like tiny tim in the the charles dickens novel. never mind my time will come...hehehhehehehehehe

Hi GM I am only new to this site but have seen there is bad problems with ppl not standing up.Instead of these ppl being banned they should just be made to sit out for a hand or 2 by someone on the commettee.After this is they still do it,this then when a MOD should do there job.Also the committee ppl should have instant access to a MOD to inform them.Also a MOD should introduce themselves so ppl know who they are.

The only problem I can think of is that I normally try to resolve issues at tables and talk people in to standing, etc, but 1/2 the time I end up being laughed at.
I would like to see a 15 minute muzzle code given to the committee members to shut people up who are intent on causing trouble at the tables!!

Hi GM,
Before Xmas I beleive I was being considered for MOD but never heard any more of it. If this is still being considered then FANTASTIC if not I would also like to be considered for the Committee. Please let me know your thoughts.
I also think that the point raised by "staxpaper" regarding MODS introducing themselves in rooms is a very good point, especially with so many new members joining the site, it lets people know who is there to help and keeps thinks civilised (people will be less likely to use bad language or abuse the rules as often).
I also agree that "ginger" would make a good MOD as well, I actually thought she/he was one already! Lol.
P.S. Hope the wedding went well and all the best for the New Year.

kerrie, you are a moderator.. I sent you a an a-mail now, did you receive it? Must have been some glitch in the communications somewhere, since no one told you earlier that you were a moderator. I am sorry for that.
About the committee idea, it is no problem with me if you want to try it out.

Hi GM, I think that is an excellent idea. I would like to put myself forward if I am not to late. I think it would be great to have a forum for educated debate between members who are interested in preserving, and possibly enhancing the features of somthing that they respect and enjoy.

I reckon the sooner you guys appoint more mods the better. You now have 6 tables and run the same number of mods as you did with only 2 tables. You have had two very good people in Woosh and Ginger offer their services and I would hope that this is initiated without all the pussy footing about.

The committee will be mini-mods, just cant ban/muzzle. As I said in the first post, that is what it recommends.

That would be a good idea. Cause i think alot of us would get a tinnie bit annoyed having to leave a table to find a mod. :)
