Will you be giving us instructions?
As I understand it we are there to help resolve issues without using banning powers or muzzling, and, if that action needs to be taken, we are responsible for finding a mod and informing them? Also, to assist new members and existing members with questions and issues.
Also, to collect suggestions and forward them to yourself?
Is that correct??

Yes, all of the above is correct. You need to be really sympathetic, and like empathetic. And you help out during the game, using your knowledge of care and assistance.
Although, if a user is being bad, take note of his name, copy and paste it. Post it in a word pad or something, and you can then send this proof too a moderators email address. And then that moderator can take further action towards the scene.
So, you're mini-mods.

GM, JohnnyB and myself have just had a problem with a member on Table 2. He refused to stand and they became abusive and started to swear at ourselves and the players who also asked him to stand.
His name is jiggy17x.

LilRider, when I pointed you in the direction of this thread, I do believe you have got the wrong idea.
This isn't a place to ask to be a moderator and GM says firmly not to ask to be a moderator, as if you ask, you will not be appointed!
This is a thread to be a 'minimod' committee member, with no banning or muzzling powers, but you are there to support and assist members and to support the big moderators :)

Hi I think this is a great idea for the poker room. It would be good to have a committee because it's a group of regulars (mostly), who know how the poker room works and what goes on. Also it brings us all closer together lol. So i am interested in joining, can i please? lol. Thank you
