I'm sure we can come up with something... hmmmm why not start a new thread? Maybe a subject like... "Invitation to all players, new & old" then i'm sure you could come up with what to say, you have a great way of putting words together to let people know what you are trying to say.

cwibhoy Hmmmmmmmm don't know how to take this one? I have played here since Feb 9th this year. If the question is that those referred to as old lags should have more time on there side and I believe it does, then let me put it another way. Time does not dictate care or sensibility, it does, however, give those players the advantage to set standards that will be adopted by new players. I set a high standard in this respects so = old lag. That suit you better m8? lol

I do not often reply in the forum so I hope I can get across my meaning to you.
Is it really that bad on the site these days compared to a couple of months ago, is it really the site that has changed or is it us the members that have a diferent focus on life.
I am an old stick in the mud as yuo well know I stay glued to table 1 I see people come and go. Those who used to be regular players on table 1 become infrequent visitors to table 1 but are much seen on omaha or turbo or tourney, is this because table 1 has become unfriendly or is it no longer an excitng challenge.
I try to treat each player at table 1 as a personal friend, I try to make them feel welcomed and safe and happy but sometimes thats not enough to make them stay so they drift off to other excitements or challenges.
I read that hovis si trying to make manners and greeting a priority on this site and I applaud that stand. I see Krazy1 is trying to understand and find out from others why they no longer find this a happy place and I applaud that action.
But are we sure that its not a happy place I do not see any difference except in the people they change and with their change comes a different fun.
I know I am rambling on but what I am trying to say is I do not see any difference and i am afraid that either I am missing something or someone else is, SO ARE YOU REALLY SURE that the site is different and if so in what way.

Thanks johnny I learnt from you. The difference, now that's a good question, I find that the ty especially is not used as much and basic manners as a whole.
It won't affect me, I will still say nh, vnh even though that receives no reply of ty. But to be fair, I notice that table 1 is still fun and polite and have had some cracking laffs lately.

i have found that table 1 is the worst as i said in my topic before it is the only table ive been to twice and never recieved a reply it was also the first table i went to and it was not a good welcome for newcomers. luckily i knew there was many friendly people on here through the forum but other newcaomers may not

craigd table 1 was my first table.....stayed there til the table was lost....and i mean litterly lost......then pot limit came alone and i got hooked. I understand where johnny is coming from......but there are so many times ppl are just plain jerks here and i am seeing it more times than not......
