I have read a few threads here that suggests there is a need for more moderators.
There has been some opinions that the moderators are too soft with too many warnings. The guidelines for the moderators is to give the player a chance to correct the behavior before action is taken. I believe this is how it should be. However in extreme cases exceptions can be made, and I have changed the guidelines to reflect that. There is no need to put out the guidelines for everyone to see, it is mainly intended for the moderators.
However it seems there is a need for more moderators. New moderators are selected by the existing moderators and me, but in this thread committee members and everyone else can suggest who they think should become new moderators.

Can I suggest CMfroggywoman and CMjohnnyB.
They are both on the tables during the day (UK time) when the need for new mods is greatest.
Plus they both help when they can and definitely have the right temperament and attitude to be moderators.

emil the moderators here do a sterling job with little or no thanx at all sum players not naming any names will make sum mods and cms lives hell.
i was threatened by 1 user yesterday with myself being sued for allowing racial behaviour at the workplace i will send u the transscript.
both mods and cms take alot of S*** from players and sumtimes its a tuff call wat to do to keep the tbls running smoothly days and days have gone by when im the only mod on in the evening and its very hard to mod every tbl and still have a hnd or two, last night i just modded because i could not concentrate on my hnds and the tbls this site is getting very very popular and yes we do need more help the cms do a great job in watching the tbls for the mods but choose the mods carefully

Yes, the moderators do a great job and everyone should be very thankful for the moderators being here. And for myself I am also very grateful that you moderators keep the game running as smoothly as possible and make The Free Poker Room a more pleasant place to be at.

I would recomend CMcoolhand75, CMfroggywoman, CMtwr506 and CMjockney as all being suitable candidates.

i think some mods do there jobs ace.but i think there jobs need to be timed. mods that can do days do days and mods that do nights do them.insted of doin it when they can.sum mods take this position and abuse it.i carnt be a mod because i havent got the time think thats the case for some of the mods too.think this will give the mods time to enjoy the site too.

yes i agree with keywest, the mods and cm's do take a lot of flack.and i agree please choose very carefully. i for one could not do the task of a mod to the standard that is needed. can i also say CMtwr506 would probebly be my first choice.

Personally I don't think it would be a bad idea to offer all the CM's on the current list the position of moderator, or indeed give them the powers of moderators.
From what I have observed they are all doing a great job and are all worthy of the responsibility.
And keywest you have nothing but respect from me mate. for the time you devote and the good job you do.

I have only been playing a couple of weeks but think CMjohnnyB and CMtwr506 would make great mods.
I also think another couple of females would be good to keep the balance so think denisey and froggywoman as they are always happy to help.

Hi (again)
Im applying to be a moderator. I feel there is need of more moderators, as do many other members. Having used this site for a very long time and witnessed first hand the fundamentals of each and every game, I feel i would do a good job. That is obviously for emil and co to decide.
Im a keen and fair poker player, I comply with all the rules of this site, I help out where neccessary and interact accordingly.
As you can probably see I have had a lot of input into this forum over the past week or so, and believe in making this site as good as I remeber it being months ago.
There you go, take it or leave it, you decide. Whatever happens im cool.

Hello,
Personally, i would put myself and Cmcoolhand75 put for a mod position because we are players who always play fair and by the rules. Also, The times we are on, almost none of you guys are on. During this time, it is very easy to get abused and have people not letting others play, anf nothing can be done about it.

Your moderators should identify themselves before taking action. I still cant access your site because I did not know they were 1. moderators and 2. speaking to me, until of course I was booted. They need to realize that not all people are aware of poker etiquette or rules, and would gladly comply to them if advised courtiously. When speaking to a room of 10 people or rather 6 rooms of 10 people they should identify to whom they are giving a COMMAND.
This was a site I had planned on comming to regularly but now I am not sure.

In my personal opinion i think CM LARA has been doing a great job as a CM she has helped me tons in some tables .. i think she would do an excelent job as a MOD !!! Lambretta has shown also a helping hand for me sometimes getting some players to calm down on the site he would be a good prospect for a CM. if i remember anyone else i will get bak to the forum and suggest more people. for now thats all

ok, 1. loose thats caps there annoying and to some, offensive.
2. I've played w/ MrOrange he's a good guy and fun to play poker with. I think he's be a good mod.

1. Am i the onlyone who use caps. Your friend orange had use caps a lot of times.
2. Players must know about bad persons which doesnt care about the game and they are full of complex as orange is.

Emil...if autoeject seats are not an option then the site will need more mods. The following people would be really good at it. Woosh, Froggywoman, ginger, lara, and boozybird

Thank you ynot12 for your recommendation. I play on these tables alot, and there is a great community of players which have formed a friendly environment. Ofcourse there are some people that have joined this site that do not comply with the rules who refuse to stand or choose to be abusive to other players. With my CM status i can only advise and warn these players that they could be banned if their behaviour continues. There definatley needs more mods (especially GMT day time) to monitor the tables to help to keep the site running smoothly.

I play on and off at all hours of the day and night. For the hours that I always play I would vote for CMfroggy and CMbigblind (not to mention myself ;) ). They are usually on at the same time, very helpful and friendly. For other times, all the CM's I have found to be good candidates but the one that stands out most is CMjohhnyb. Terrific individual. Great personallity and always in high spirits. I also like the idea of adding somthing to their names so they stand out. Something like MOD or SM (site moderator).
