ISSUE 1 - When you click on a table and either get a red screen with a little "x" in top corner or say "connecting to server" on bottom but never does.

The fix
1. Uninstall Adobe Flash Player
Click to go to adobe and Uninstall

Scroll down and choose the appropriate Operating System that you are running. For Windows XP or Vista click on "uninstall_flash_player.exe"

The next part will depend on what Web Browser you are using.

If Internet Explorer:
Click "Run"
Click "Run"
Click "Yes"
Click "Close"

If Firefox, Safari or Opera:
Click "Save"
After download is complete, Double left click on the saved file, then follow steps for Internet Explorer above.

2. Shutdown and restart - Make sure to do this as it is necessary. Do not just use the "restart" option as your system does not fully shutdown.

3. Install new Flash Player.
For Windows XP or Vista with I.E. or Firefox

For other Operation Systems and Browsers Click Here

Scroll to and click "Agree and install now"
Allow Internet Explorer to install the ActiveX
Click "Install"

4. Log into poker.

5. Click on a table

6. You are done!

ISSUE 2 - You try to log in but screen goes white.

The Fix

Simple method - Disable your firewall. You can re-enable it after you log in.

More difficult method - You can play with your firewall setting to allow this site but the method is different on all firewalls.

ISSUE 3 - Java related issues or messages.

The Fix

Java must be enabled.

For Mozilla
Click on Tools.
Click on Options.
Click on Content.

Verify that "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable Java" both are checked and click ok. If either is not checked then check them and click OK.

For I.E.
It has been some time now since I have used Internet Explorer. All virus people say Mozilla is better, so consider loading it. I was an old I.E. dog and it took me a long time to accept this. Finally, I made the switch and I am now a very happy Mozilla user. ;-) Anyway, since it has been a long time, I don't quite remember how to enable Java. If I recall correctly, it was something like this,

Click on Tools
Click Advanced Tab
Scroll down and look for Java.
Make sure that Java is enabled.

ISSUE 4 "JavaScript Void" after logging in and clicking on a table. (Or something like that)

The Fix

If you checked that Java is enabled like directed in "Issue 3" and still get this message, it is quite possible that you have been banned. It has happened that players were banned by the system rather then by a moderator.

The best way to find this out is to MSN or E-mail a MOD and ask them to try and log you in. They will know right away if you were banned. To do this you will have to send them your Username and Password EXACTLY as it appears on the screen. You can always change it right after getting confirmation for them. The next post will tell you how to change your password if you don't know.

Changing your Password

Simply log in and click "Profile" on the left hand side of the Main tables screen.
Choose a new Password
Re-enter the new Password
Click Submit query.
Click Log in
Log in using the new Password.

As always, you should keep your password safe and NEVER give it out to anyone. Your User is your identity here. If you make a mistake and give it out I would change it ASAP.

Chat Issues

Some people have issues being able to 'chat' while sitting at the table. The reason for this is that your screen may be to big to see the box under the scrolling chat.

To be able to utilize the chat box, you might have to reduce, or zoom out, your screen size from 100% to approximately 90%. This can be done by clicking 'View' on the top of your screen or by clicking the '100%' on the lower right of your screen and changing it to "custom 90".

You may also be able to maximize the screen (or plug-in) by clicking the "Maximize" button on the top right of your screen. This depends on your browser. I have tried it with success on Firefox & Safari.

Then you can type in the box and just press 'Enter' to send. See pictures below :-)

Other Table Issues

Sometimes the tables get "flaky". Maybe the chips are moving in slow motion? maybe the chips are flying around the screen? Maybe your in a tourney and it keeps folding your hands and your NOT sitting out? Whatever the case is the only fix is to refresh the screen or close it completely and re-open.

Refreshing a table will knock you off the table unless you are on a tourney table. To refresh try "F5" or "Ctrl+F5". If neither of these work you will probably have to close the screen and re-open. If you are in a tourney, it will sit you out instead of kick you off, so don't panic.

To reduce this from occuring, clean out your Cache, Cookies and Temporary Internet Files regularly.

Screen Capture

To take a snapshot of your screen to post on the forum is called Screen Capture. The key combination's will depend on your operation system and your keyboard.

For windows (and my keyboard) press "Fn + Prnt Scrn" (Function + Print Screen). On some keyboards it is just "Prnt Scrn". Pressing this key combination takes a snapshot of everything you see on your screen. Now open MS Paint. This can be found clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, Paint.

in MS Paint, on the toolbar upper left corner, point to and click the small rectangle called 'Select'. Point to the blank field and press Ctrl + v or right click and choose paste. Your screen capture in now pasted. Save this file by clicking "file" and "save as" on the top toolbar.

If you are posting this file on the Forum you need to edit this image as it shows your username and password. Using the same rectangle on the toolbar, point to a spot on the image. Left click and hold to select a field you wish to save as your final cropped image. Right click inside the area you choose and select "cut". Choose 'file' and 'new'. You will be asked if you want to save changes to file. Choose "No". On the new file in the blank white field press "Ctrl + v" or right click and "paste". Then save the new file. Posting this image on the Forum is described below.

Posting Pictures in the Forum

First step you need to take to post pictures on the Forum, is to open an image hosting acct. The most common site the users of tfpr use is Photobucket. It is free to sign up and easy.

Once signed up, you will now choose the photo you want to post and upload it to the image host. When upload is complete, point to the picture and a list of codes will pop up under the picture. You will need the "IMG Code".

Point to and left click on "IMG Code". This will highlight the IMG Code. Now press 'Ctrl + c' or copy the code OR point to the highlighted link and right click and select "copy". Now go to the thread or post you wish to post this picture on and press 'Ctrl + v' to paste OR right click and select "paste".

The code will look something like this when pasted "". Once you post the message, the picture will be properly posted.

*NOTE* If you delete the photo from the image host, it will be deleted from any place you posted it as well.

Thats all =) Now that wasn't so hard was it?

I am new to the site and can not figure out how to register for a tournament like Texas Tourney. When I go to the table the tournament is in process and the message says to wait for the last player to "leave". Once this happens all the seats are immediately taken.
Is it possible to be on a waiting list for an upcoming tournament?
Thank you.

I haven't gotten any messages m8. Are you saying all other tables open correctly, just not those 3 tourneys?

If so, then it seems to be a problem with your account. Try creating a new email address and then creating a new account. If that works, we can have your chips transferred to the new account and deleting your old account.

Chefy, backup all important data on that lappy to a memory stick before you monkey with it.

Try the game with your phone, just to be sure it is your lappy.
Assuming you can get to the lobby ok, but not the tables, then it would be either Java or Flash.
You can try uninstall then install the latest version.

There is another site uses the same software, you can try to get in their games for test, see if
it works over there.
Not sure I can give out the URL here, MSN jd, she knows it well. :)))

If all fail, restore OS from the recovery disk. Pain in the ars, I know.

ps,
looks like you were able to play some yesterday.

LESTER51...you need separate usernames and/or passwords. One for playing poker and another for the forum. You can't use the same for both.

It could be that your java needs updating...please try:
