TheSting...have you read Hellmuth's book. I figure if I ever played him, I would take along a list all the tells he writes about and try to do everyone of them at random...making some of them correspond to good cards and some the 'got nothins'.

You mention TonyG and Hellmuth...and good players gonna be there?

Nice one Sting -- I just played you and I now realise its completely genuine -- I was hoping it was, lol.

I remember seeing someone 'slowroll' Phil Hellmuth in a tourney - he went ballistic ... he nearly imploded!! Hellmuth had to leave the cash tourney table for ages to cool down: it was a less famous player that did the slow rolling on him with pocket Kings - but what made it worse was that one of the other more famous and respected players tried to support the slow roller. Talk about tilt - he's probably still going on about it?

I hope that slow rolling stuff isn't in the mighty Bento's book?

p.s. I enjoyed your concert in the Manchester MEN last year, it cost an arm and a leg for me and my wife to be near the front but it was worth it.

Funny you should say that, Panda. I have burned myself badly 3 times in a row with slow-rolling. Twice on flopped sets and once with a flush. The first two did me in with flushes I allowed to river...the last with a full house. In one case I folded (opportunity lost), the other two took my chances and lost big money. But this was on the turbo tables.

If you watch the turbo-trash (Master, Ace777, etc.) they don't seem to slow-roll much...they go big when they catch a piece of the flop.

I do think slow-rolling is the way to go on the tourney tables here and in the real qorld where TheSting is heading.

Bents, as Phil Hellmuth said (during afore-mentioned incident) slow rolling is one of the rudest things you can do at professional level .. now I'm talking this guy checked all the way until 5th street then bet fairly big -- Hellmuth calculated that he couldn't have had a better hand because he would have placed a bet earlier, because its not the done thing.

So I wouldn't adivse that for the stingster, unless he wants to be on TV for it, lol.

But you're right about tourneys on this site - sometimes its the only way to play against players that like to bet in big chunks every hand - players that try and bully you hoping you'll cave in. Its like a martial art -- use their own force against them.

Did you see the televised cash game last night on channel 5? It had 2 qualifiers playing the big guns (one guy had played 18 tables for 24 hrs to win the place for having the biggest draw in a 24 hr period, Bodo Sbrzesny); ... all that and Jenifer Tilley, wow ... the ony thing missing was the stingster with a freepokerroom tshirt, a freepokerroom baseball cap and a freepokerroom thong.
