Oops was drunk and really really tired. Internet connection had been playing up all night had to re-queue a couple of times. I must have clicked sit out rather than stand up but it was at about 3am ish(GMT). So I think I nodded off for about 30 mins and came back to an empty table again, last thing on the chatlog was "bye trenchfoot" so i thought i logged out. Sorry for any inconvenience to all involved. Any chance of an un-ban? - Please?

Was still at table because i lost connection and couldnt see the screen but could here sound. Tried to Log out. Tried to re enter room , but would not allow me to do so.
Had been playing for some time before that and accumulated 23 000 in chips, so i wasn't just hang about to be annoying ask numerous players that i was playing against ie 'timfisher', ' smellyfarts ' etc.
I don't think i should be banned for a connection loss.

Just wanted to say I thought it was really sad that gegs resigned from being a moderator. Dont know what happened but I always thought he was fair and good at it. As i always say it must be tough being a mod. So many thanks to all u mods and now gegs you can just enjoy playing and winning my chips lol

I don't think gegs was ready too become a moderator. The reason he is now a normal user is because he was being plain disloyal.
As too was sparky2k7. I was very shocked when i met this.
I hope Danduriez doesn't make the same mistakes.

SPURS i had played around 50 hands, and i think you are being a little self righteous given that you were banned for not standing and then returned to playing 2 days later.
Have been playing on this site for at least two months and have not caused problems at any stage, whether it be language related or otherwise, and stand up after loosing chips almost instantly, so that a new player can join before the Blinds.
3 Hrs not playing?? Dream on, won above 20,000 in chips and won hands that i played in where at least 40 players went all in and lost.
Its Poker, Spurs and its free and fun, not a place for having a whine.

Can i just tell everyone, that once you're banned, the ban will NEVER be removed. Unless it was an EXTREMELY careless mistake by a moderator. But other than that, it'll never be removed.
SPURS42 - If you're banned, make a new name up. And please follow FreePokerRoom rules.

I HAVE JUST READ GM'S COMMENTA ABOUT ME. NOT READY TO BE A MOD. WHAT A POMPOUS CONDASCENDING THING TO SAY. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT I RESIGNED BECAUSE IM NOT GOING TO ARGUE OR TAKE CHILDLIKE ABUSE FROM THE LIKES OF HIM. WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS? THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS...HE CAME ON SITE UNDER DIFFERENT NAME LATE ON (SOUNDED DRUNK) and suggested that i move table. unfortunately i dont have the facility to play on all tables at once (no wonder queues long). i had been modding for 3 hours. all on table enjoying it and i had indeed banned 4 people that night. GM ...LOYALTY IS WHAT YOU SHOW TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. NOT TO A WEBSITE. ASK THE PEOPLE WHO WERE PLAYING THAT NIGHT. YOU, AND NOBODY ELSE RUINED A PERFECTLY ENJOYABLE EVENING. Gegs, we're all entitled too our own opinions. But if you're going too act like that all the time, then I found it reasonable too demote you. Gegs, please can YOU NOT TYPE IN CAPS. And, i wasn't drunk.

gegs12 and GrandeMaster, I get on with the pair of you and I enjoy chatting to the pair of you and you both are good people.
so when I see to good people like you 2 arguing like this it upsets me.
because i like to think were all friends.
who really cares what people say or do when they are playing poker as long as they stay within the rules of the website.
So I am going to say something now and please dont bite my head off.
just kiss and make up and just forget about all of this.
and lets go and play some poker =)
one last note.
all the MODS on here do a good job and none of them should be critisized (i think thats how you spell it...lol)
as they do take alot of stick and its not a easy job.
So I think everybody should cut them some slack as everyone expects alot from them and lets let the MODS do their jobs...

Hi all, can some 1 please do us all a favour and shut stardust up please !! im sure he/she is a really nice person deep down but we are at a table now we have been playing for 2hrs with no problems now and again the "odd" thing is said in caps we all know the rules and do not need
stardust consantly bossing and telling people to do this and that as
it is now starting to annoy a lot of people.

thanks for those kind words and sentiments. I have not fallen out with GM
or indeed anyone on the site. I enjoy the banter and cameraderie on the table and treat all players with respect. I would like to think that people
enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs. However, I will not stand back and be accused of something that i did not do. Nor will I allow falsehoods to be spoken about me. I was not demoted, I resigned ass anybody playing at the time of the incident (if thats what it could be called)
happened. As far as I am concerned that is the end of the matter. As a footnote, i have and intend to enjoy my games on this site.

Hi kolt. The only reason i mentioned this thread is because every thing is in one place. So the mods dont have to go searching through loads of different threads.
If you have been banned then usually a ban is for life. But you can re-join the site under a different name. I hope this helps.

hello:) tonight it has been a real mess at the tables, i played at all of them and i diddent notice one mod, and there where so many people refusing to stand up! but table three was the worst, there where a lot of swearing and offensive talk it got so annoying i had to leave the table. the person i think started this and had the badest language was: makerowson, i think he should be banned. and i think you should consider getting more moderators, because it cant go on like this.

You were banned for breaking one of the rules. Normally, moderators don't make terrible mistakes by banning a user that hasn't done anything wrong.
You might of broke these rules:
No swearing.
No offensiveness.
No abusiveness.
No rudeness.
No racism.
No sexism.
Stand up when lost ALL chips.
Talk in English. (When done twice, you get muzzled)

I'm sorry to have to do this but i have a complaint to make about Smackdown he banned me (Boortsl234) for saying and i qoute"stick it up your ace" because i said i was going for a quick puff" (smoke) and he gave me a warning for this so I thought he was joking so i said this remark and then he banned me loads of people are able to back me up on this one so something surely has to be done with this matter. I am not happy about this, ynot told me to copy and paste this "ynot12: all boorts said was "u can stick it up your ace, lol" I hope you do something with this very unexperianced moderater thank you, Boorts

i was at table with boorts and totally agree. smackdowns reaction was totally over the top. all the other players agreed that boorts had not said one offensive thing and told smackdown so at the time. this has resulted in boorts losing 90k in chips and having his reputation tarnished for no reason at all. if mods have the facility to check text scroll then this should be done and an apology issued to boorts. he is one of the "characters" on the site and i for one feel sorry for him that he has been treated this way.
Sorry Smackdown, you are a good fella but you are out of order in this case
