IM STILL THERE. i stood and immediately resat on THE EMPTY SEAT. maybe you missed it? atleast admit its a possibility.
and if you mods bothered to unmuzzle me i wouldve said that. im sure you got the memo right? im to be unmuzzled ASAP!!!!

as you all know i have put a post on forum for the gurkhas to stay in England when they retire. Just thought that it would be grateful if you could all sign it saying you are in charge of this site and monitor it very well my i say, I would appreciate it if you would.

malvas has a better high,the best hand in this case
you,filtopz had the best low,you have 8-6 while malvas has 8-7
i suggest you have a look at this ,it will help with future questions

yes but malvas also has the best lo, this been the ace, this meaning he should of won both high and lo pots, am i right?

no.
the ranking of the Lo hands is the same as the Hi cards, except the lowest HAND wins
8-7-6-4-A is higher than 8-6-4-3-2 because of the 7, so the second one wins (Lo)
if you are thinking of the A as high card instead of low card, then that would not make any difference, because A-8-7-6-4 is still higher than 8-6-4-3-2, only more so.

im confused. but the ace is lower then the 2 obviously, making this a lower hand, therefore winning the LO pot, thats how iv always played it and won. lowest card/hand wins???

not the lowest card, but the lowest HAND. hands are ranked according to their highest card. in this case the highest card of both hands is 8, so the next highest card is compared, and the 6 beats the 7 in Lo

try looking at it from this angle
consider the low as a number
the best low is 54321 (1= ace)
the hands in this case were:
87641 for malvas
86432 for fil.
that makes filtopz "number" lower than malvas' one
the closer to 54321 you get,the better

hhmmm, i get what your saying but i always play it the other way, as in ace been the best lowest card etc. anyway, i do reasonably well on omaha, so not complaining.
