Dear Emil,
Can you please see what is happening with the user Gavino, his computer frooze yesterday on a winning hand, and now he cant get in to play. He can log in but when he chooses a table nothing happens.

i asked dowdy 3 times could he stand, and he's still sat.
the room had ten in it
as i am only a CM i can't make him stand and theres no mods on msn or in the room's.
problem solved now he has moved
( i think we need one or two MODs for the morning time because i
rarely ever see them between the hours of 4am and 9am)

all mods please be aware that member called Splinter1 just came on to table 1 and straight away typed cheaters.
EWhen I aske dhim to explain he said you are all cheaters.
I asked him on several occassions not call people that but he just carried on.
I told him i did not mind for myself as i dont care what people call me but on table 1 there is a good group of nice people who do not deserve to be treated and labelled in this way so i told him that I did not want him to say it again.
His response was your all cheaters.
I dont know if you can or will do anything about his behaviour which was deplorable but if I had mod powers I would have zapped him.

I was playing in a tournament several hours ago and once there were only two of us left the onlookers began to get impatient (which is understandable when you're watching two people play and waiting for one of them to win). Most people waited patiently for us to finish. But four or five of the people who lacked the self-control it would take to courteously wait for us to complete our game began to berate and insult my opponent and me. I was disappointed by their impatience and immaturity, but would have overlooked it had it not been for the complete disrespect shown by two of those players in particular. serpent8 and pokerface1990 crossed a definite line when they began to make derrogatory comments against women in general--and especially against women playing poker. For 15 to 20 minutes they spewed a constant barrage of verbal rubbish about "keeping women in their place" and "sending her back to the kitchen, where she belongs," etc. They scrutinized my every play and repeatedly insinuated that I lacked both intelligence and courage. It is possible that their intent was not malicious, but even as banter such mysogynistic comments are offensive to me. They made me feel as if they did not see me as a human being with dignity and worth, but merely as a piece of flesh to be used for their personal service. It is completely inappropriate and intolerable for them to devalue half the human race--especially in a public context where impressional young people could be hurt or misguided by their comments. Please keep your eyes and ears open for this sort of behavior in the future in order to keep the site friendly and open to all and to protect the young people who are a part of this community.

Thank you for your post Karinya, this certainly is NOT the sort of treatment any member should receive on this site and Moderators and Committe Members work very hard to keep the site friendly and free from this kind of behaviour.
I am sorry for what you have experienced today and I will certainly look out for both serpent8 and pokerface1990 while moderating the rooms. If i witness any repeat of this kind of behaviour I will deal with it accordingly as I'm sure any of the other Moderators will.
I hope this has not discouraged you from playing on this site in the future.

Between cheating .. cocky kids ... and general rudeness .... i was banned as peanut61 for telling a kid off for rude and offensve behaviour .. i and many other women had put up with it for weeks .... now you have a guy on their using 3 alias's peanut 42 ,,,,, peanuttyme,,,,peanut123.... he was banned from the site i now play on for harrassing me , so another reason not to come on this site ....I enjoy poker , but not this way ... its not just about luck ... as for the mods and cm's .... less focus on your mates and more focus on improving the site .... most are great . but boy oh boy . its a tough job if you take it seriously .. if you don't then the result are the endless complaints . and their are so many ... Emil sit back and really take a look at how this site has gone .... poker is a skill not a chip hunt.
