hey cm thanks for the advice....but as i said before the rules doesn't tell u that u can get ban if u don't stand up....i got a lot of chips ...i dun wanna start all over again...plz unban me

plus there's poor tazs been waiting for a week to get unbanned, so how long will it take for u...? which brings me back to my first point, reregister and you will be back on the tables straight away.....

nar sorry friend, thats not possible,
i wish it was because when i fisrt came here i was banned 3 times.....so we seem to have had the same problem.....i was first known as willywonka,then wonker1 then wonker2.....
im aware that i does not say anything about banning in the rules, its like an un-written rule, which works well.........
anything else i can help you with my friend...?

7 of the tables have only been added in the past 10 months or so, just think what it was like back then queue's of 15+...

I was not banned for not standing and trying to re-buy. I lost my hand and the system offered me a re-buy, which i did and was dealt back in. Woosh told me to fold my hand and stand yet at the time i was not looking at the conversation so didn't realise i had done something wrong. I have since looked through the forum and discovered that there has been a change in the site rules and re-buys are no longer allowed. However, i would suggest that it is rather silly to leave this as an option on the site and even more so to have it as one that is automatically offered to you by the system itself. It took me some time to discover this rule change on the forum as i do not spend my time reading this (i joined the site to play poker not for a chat) and these site specific rules are not in the rules section itself; perhaps there should be a section for this.
I will not be joining under a different name as suspect i will only be banned again when i fail to keep up with the constant rule changes and fall foul of another over zealous and illiterate mod. However, it seems as though many members are getting banned for similar reasons and perhaps if you removed the re-buy function altogether and programmed the site so that players who lose all their chips were automatically stood up by the system then many people may not be banned for not paying attention to the conversation thread. or failing to keep up with rules.
A member no more...

Hi..
please may i have my ban lifted.. as i was just been as akward as the rest as the table.. but i got told off and i started argueing, i find this really pathetic because there were loads of us.. but only me being told to shut up..i would like to report overgame because he was using offenceive language during our game of poker. Thank You!

firstly,
may i say im sorry to hear your not comming back to this site,if you ever change your mind,you will be welcomed back with open arms my friend.
secondly,
yes there was a rule change of no ''re-buy allowed''. BUT the re-buying was only allowed for a very short period of time,it was deemed to be causeing to many arguments about people refusing to stand,you see players were sitting with $10 in front of them all day.May i also add that if any seats were empty on the table you would have been allowed to rebuy.
thirdly,
Woosh is a fantastic mod and certainly not''over zealous or illiterate''. He would have given you fair warning, he would have told you why you should have stood up, IE: ''NO RE-BUY ALLOWED PLEASE STAND''. Also he had no option but to ban you,any other mod on this site would have done the same.

sounds like the mod in question had one hell of a hard time looking after the table you lot were on...
if ''overgame'' was seen using offenceive language during the game the mod would have giving him fair warning or banned him.

The point i had been trying to make is that i was allowed to re-buy, which i did with the maximum of 1000 and was in the middle of a hand when i was banned. I thought this could only happen if there was no-one in the queue as i have never been allowed to re-buy when people are waiting???
Also, i have never said that Woosh didn't give me warning but just that i didn't notice the warning on the thread as i was not reading it at the time. The reason that i am annoyed is that i am now told that i must re-register and lose all my chips when this is really just an honest mistake from a usually courteous player.

if you still want to be ''un-banned'' i could ask his opinion, but if he says the ban must stay, then thats it my friend, appeal over.
if he says yes you may be ''un-banned'' them i have to ask the owner of the site on your behalf for your request.

Was muzzled not banned, for continuous bad language and offensive behaviour towards players on table 1 at 00.53 on 19.03.08.
overgame was reacting to his bad behaviour and when asked not to make things worse did in fact stop.
If dunn08 is banned it was not done by me.

Perhaps you could suggest to the owner that the system is changed so that people are automatically stood by the system when they play all their current chips rather than waiting for them to do so themselves. This should minimise the waiting time for others to get on tables and prevent future players being banned for not keeping up with your sites unwritten rules.

For some reason i have been banned once again! I havent been on for days and after the big ban thing went on i was given advice from a cm to change my email address and user name? Things were fine after that and now after playing once im banned again? Not very happy, could you please lift the ban on me as all cm"s will back me that i have never caused no offence to anyone including cmboozybird and froggywoman etc. My previous name was "ste999" Thankyou very much
