I joined the omaha table and was immediately subjected to abuse from a few players, mainly Brazen. It simply became a bit much so I stopped the chat. Simple as that.

There is a serious bullying problem on this site and I won't allow these people to make me a victim just because I am a moderator here. I will continue to stop the chat if necessary, and anyone who breaks the rules or continues to be antagonistic I will muzzle.

Seems it's always the mod who takes the crap. Well I can assure everyone, and the people who know me well here, that I joined this table and I was immediately ganged up on. I stopped the chat twice so far because it got out of hand, and I will do it again. Brazen seems to think I can't do this.

Convenient how Brazen forgot to include the first words said when I joined the table....

Something to that effect.
If that's not victimisation then tell me what is.
It was a deliberate effort to cause me to lose my cool, which failed miserably, and resulted in players being unable to use the chat for a while, thanks to the players who thought it fun to victimise the mod.

I didn't abuse my power. Players became antagonistic towards me, including yourself, and I warned you all that I would stop the chat if it continued, yet you continued to defy me and left me with no other option. There's no abuse of power there Brazen, and I am fully confident that the mods and Emil will see my side of this and not yours. I suggest you give up this pathetic attempt to cause trouble, and dry your eyes. You wanted to annoy me, and you wanted me to overreact, and you failed.

i was there and before seph joined we were all jokin around about me bein a female lesbian long story and when the mod joined brazen said shhhh..mod because we were reffering to lesbians it was not an attempt to annoy anyone and then he said i was being very rude wen all i said is stop being rude to petey or leave the table and the mod deemed this as rude and stopped the chat. so i also agree with brazen and petey although i wouldnt want any action taken against seph i just thought i wud bring in the facts

one more thing in that chat box u seemed to blame me cos i said 'yes hahaha' and u said it will be my fault if chat goes but in the forum u said mainly brazen why is this? do u just blame anyone that challenges u? as in the chat i said 'dont be rude to petey' and u said it was my fault chat stopped but in here u said it was brazens fault but no one used any bad language flooded or bullied or broke any rules so could u tell me y the chat was stopped.

Disputes about chat boxes and mods and what was said etc always happen.
I find it hard to fathom why mods are still not copying text as a matter of procedure when there is a problem at the table.
Time and time again the mod is left to take the flack and has not copied the evidence to combat an appeal.
C,mon mods, work smarter and save all this back and forth "he said she said" on the forum.

Many of us do.
I do, simply because I know that certain people are looking to goad and cause all sorts of mischief.
What we don't want is a log war, going back and forth with us having to post each and every log...simply to proove that all we are doing is keeping the tables clear of re-buys, unsavory remarks, flooding, bullying and such -in the chat box.
It's not an easy task, and all we want is the place to run like, you know...a happy poker people place. Doesn't really seem like too much to ask for, eh?

Not much to ask at all Dani. I find Seph is one of the most patient and understanding mods out there. I find craig fun. I believe this should not have been posted, it is all to do about nothing and that the slightest "tread on my toe" is being blown out of all proportions. Let it go and respect each other.

u say i have made my point but dani is saying certain people like to goad obviously reffering to me but im not goading im simply stating that seph was in the wrong and brazen supplied the proof in black and white as u can see all brazen said was plz stand cos he was out and he locked the chat. so obviously if dani still blames me for 'stabbing him' then i have not made my point well enuf.
and i am havin fun on poker me, petey and brazen were just playin together with no 'hostility' and two mods were at the table so if we hated mods so much they would have complained by now but no one of them was even joining in our convo.
