The Prequel to the Prequel Scene 4

Characters
Coolhand = another semi-loner of the male type – black hair (hair dye??), grey (cold) eyes, that makes one think of avoiding contact, but which in reality hides a great intelligence and a warm heart, this is a person who solves problems.
Woosh = the elder statesman of the male type – greying hair displays his ancientness but sparkling blue eyes promise a depth of character coupled with much wisdom, not a native to village 1 arriving from a far away place were the only communication is in jockish sometimes lapses into jockish and can not be understood.
Cwibhoy - (AKA=CW) = a tall slim person of the male type – dark black hair and brown eyes with a nervous twitch in the left eye makes him look as if he is winking at times, a steadfast reliable personable member of the village.
Scene 4 begins
The scene opens in the year 10,000 BC at the outside of an entrance to the cave that is called village 1 where sit a group of people in a circle some talking some singing some thinking some drinking some eating all watching as the 10 players in the inner circle play poker while around them a some times larger but mostly smaller circle of watchers watch from queue waiting.
Off to one side also near the cave entrance stand hovis and Krazy1 serving cake and bread whilst to their left was bobbyb and CW serving beer and wine.
The whole site had carnival feeling of holiday time and pleasure.
and to the left of the cave mouth stands a boulder and crouched behind the boulder waiting are the twins MOD_twr506 and twr506
MOD_twr506 says we will jump out and frighten Beverly and Denisey
why? Says twr506 to his twin brother
MOD_twr506 says why? Because it will be fun (as he says this MOD_twr506 puts a half of a coconut in between his legs and the other half on his head, while around his body from knee to nose he wraps a thick tree bark leaving only his shins and a small gap at his eyes exposed)
I have got it all covered this time says MOD_twr506 it will work this time.
just then from out of the cave mouth appear two stunningly beautiful scantily dressed females.
MOD_twr506 attempts to jump out and scare them but the weight of the bark and coconuts plus their constrictiveness make this impossible and all that happens is MOD_twr506 fell to the ground on his back like a stranded turtle and unable to get up again he lay there arms and legs waving in the air.
Help me please says MOD_twr506 in a quiet embarrassed sounding voice
After rolling on the floor laughing for a long time twr506, Beverly and Denisey help MOD_twr506 to his feet and out of the tree bark.
The four friends join the other members of village 1 who are standing around watching the game in play.
There are so many people wanting to play these days says Beverly its difficult to get to play ourselves.

The girls laugh at this and Denisey says even so I know what you mean I didn't get a game at all yesterday.
Walking up to join the 4 came woosh and coolhand.
I have been thinking about this says coolhand and I think I we should make another table or two.
Hmmm says Beverly I like the sound of this tell us more.
Well says coolhand we keep the rules simple telling people they can only play at one table and that way we get two games and double the people playing, we could call it the village casino.
Why casino asks Krazy1 and hovis in unison (that means at the same time)
Well because it was my first pets name and I like it says coolhand and it is my invention.

I have another idea says coolhand for linking the tables together and playing remotely but I need some 1 to invent electricity first.

Hey Beverly and Denisey calls out bobbyb I have made some changes and now have 2 types of beer which I call stout Hic burp and bitter pharrrrrt says bobbyb

The girls try the new drinks and agree they are nice.

MOD_twr506 says quietly to twr506 I didn't think it mattered to Beverly as long as it was alcoholic!

All around the table and in close proximity could be heard giggles, smothered laughter and the words she called him cheeky face LMAO and told him to shut up ROFL.
If we have more tables says woosh that means more players and that means more people who could cause trouble.
That could be a problem says Beverly
I think says woosh we should have a few of our villagers on guard to stop any trouble happening.

Why moderators says vogonjeltz in a querulous (that's a posh way of saying questioning) voice because it sounds a posh name says woosh.
They should be sensible people who can apply common sense and an ability to calm situations down by the use of diplomacy woosh concludes

MOD_twr560 and twr506 knowing what that tone of voice means step back out of the way.
Dazza, danm, vogonjeltz and situpandbeg think better of it and stay silent.
Just at that second (or it might have been fraction earlier or later I can not be really precise as time has not yet been invented) a commotion started at the table, 2 players whom no1 (who is no1 has he/she been introduced to us, oh this is very slack, I apologise dear reader the creator is taking liberties) had seen before started arguing and shouting obscenities at each other.
Krazy1says woosh you are now a moderator, stop this trouble.
Krazy1 grabs both belligerents by the neck and bangs their heads together knocking them unconscious and then takes them away around the corner where she dumps them in a large hole in the ground.

Hmmmm! Says woosh brutal but effective.
I also have had an idea says Denisey to retain control of the tables and the games we invent a rule that allows only the use of these small brightly coloured smooth shiny pebbles that we find only in our cave to bet with, we shall call them chips.
What will that do for us says woosh and coolhand and hovis and bobbyb all together (remember that means in unison)
Well says Denisey we can exchange the pebbles for things like meat, seeds, fruit or anything we like to improve the village and they get pebbles to play the game with and you can expand that to bobbyb's beer and wine and hovis's bread and cakes they can exchange their products for pebbles from the players it's a win win situation for the villagers
There is silence for a good 10minutes (or at least it would be about 10minutes if they had invented time) while the villagers think about it then slowly 1 by 1 they foresee the possibilities and a smile comes to each of them in turn.
To ensure that we retain control says Beverly if a player has to leave for any reason while he/she still has chips we will record the amount for them and look after the chips until that player comes back we could call it banking.
She said B A N K I N G says MOD_twr506 in a loud voice so that no1 (its that no1 person again, I the narrator will endeavour to find out who he/she is) could mishear.
Each player could have a secret number for the bank says Beverly so that they get the right amount of chips.
That could lead to Many Secret Numbers says Denisey or MSN!
MSN says CW a twitch slowly starting in his left eye.
MSN says CW slightly louder the twitch becoming more pronounced and gaining in speed.
MSN says CW in a louder voice why does that fill me with dread. The twitch now flashing faster than a dirty old man in a rain coat at a troop of girl guides walking by.
After a little while the twitching subsides and CW is back to normal when he says there could be shenanigans and misdoings with that many people what we need is some 1 to investigate trouble makers and ensure that they do not come back I will volunteer for this as I have a suspicious nature and a curiosity I shall henceforward be known as the village policeman.
