Perhaps TheSting was suggesting an in-person get-together for players near each other to have a tournament.

...might be fun to have an on-line round-robin tournament with teams made up of nationals (eg. Team USA, Team Scotland, Team NZ, etc.)

It could be clash of the nations- USA vs UK would be interesting. Could even do both types of poker omaha and texas to justify the best all-round nation and the winners could share fifty pence and a flan hovis made especially saying "well done you swines"

I assume correct that organising a MTT (multi-table tournament) is not a possibility within the limits of current software?

If it were a possibility, though, then one big tournament for all the members would be really cool. :)
