I think he was trying to avoid any negativity to show the admin that you guys could have the thread opened without us constantly having to moderate the thread.

Hmm...

I did put in the request days ago, so we shall see.

hi daniella....where as footie is concerned i doubt if that could be done really...like u say we shall see...would that not open um.... a load of threads for other supporters of teams tho??..then the rivalry would start again and increase your patrolling the threads.....

yes gaz...it would be bloomin fantastic...2nd year running!!! oh yes...but i just cant see it really...the only 2 teams that would stand any chance of beatin barca...are man u and lpool...but ones out....im not sayin chelsea are bad..not atall...their thru lpool rnt....but..they..well dont do it for me really...we shall see...i still stand by man u barca final....2-2 et...3-3 and man u on penalties....and give the ticket holder fans much value for tickets lol....

Why should it be unlocked, it was locked for a reason.

O right so as usual they start crying and you gonna give in.Suppose you should give in to the spoilt brats, after all its what they are used too!

suicide

what does it have to do with you exactly?
you started a thread which is exactly the opposite of it, yet your still harping on about man utd with man utd even in your topic title.
why dont you go back to your thread and make it like you intended: not about man utd.

the thread was locked to show that the mods will not tolerate any crap to be blunt. if you looked at the glory glory thread you would notice most of it is alot like yours is just now, the only reason it got blocked is that idiots took it to far, i hope the same doesnt happen to your thread

peace

lol, the thread was started as a response to the antagonism of the glory glory man united thread, all the none man united supporters have this thread to voice thier opinions on anything football related, not my fault this thread is being used to pull your/their side to bits! Quite alright for ppl in the man united thread to slag off other teams and other players on the site, now others have somewhere to display their opinions towards the mighty man utd, if that is what they wish to do.

the thread was locked to show that the mods will not tolerate any crap to be blunt
presume you are referring to gaz's comments, insulting people on a personal level.

well i wouldnt be so stupid as to condemn at a personal level!

and if my thread was to get locked i would simply start another one

Bring it on.

Manchester United Football Club is an English Premier League football club which plays at Old Trafford in Greater Manchester. The club was formed as Newton Heath in 1878, joined the Football League in 1892, and has played in the top division of English football since 1938 with the exception of the 1974–75 season. Average attendances at the club have been higher than any other team in English football for all but six seasons since 1964–65.[3]

Manchester United are the reigning English champions, having won the 2008–09 Premier League, as well as the League Cup holders. The club is one of the most successful in the history of English football and has won 26 major honours since Alex Ferguson became manager in November 1986. In 1968, they became the first English club to win the European Cup, beating Benfica 4–1. They won a second European Cup as part of a Treble in 1999, and a third in 2008, before finishing runner-up in 2009. The club holds the joint record for the most English league titles with 18 and also holds the record for the most FA Cup wins with 11.[4]

Since the late 1990s, the club has been one of the richest in the world with the highest revenue of any football club,[5] and is currently ranked as the richest and most valuable club in any sport worldwide, with an estimated value of around £1.136 billion (€1.319 billion / $1.870 billion) as of April 2009.[6] Manchester United was a founding member of the now defunct G-14 group of Europe's leading football clubs,[7] and its replacement, the European Club Association.[8]

Alex Ferguson has been manager of the club since 6 November 1986, joining from Aberdeen after the departure of Ron Atkinson.[9] The current club captain is Gary Neville, who succeeded Roy Keane in November 2005.[10]
