Hi Emil

I think, a new hold'em table to be added to the list of games is very delicious... ' 1M Table '
Each player's entry fee is 100k and no money to 2nd and 3th. only 1 winner takes 1million..
Is ıt possible?

The granularity for the cursor of bet/raise ruler is currently set to 25 cents...
This yields very ugly bets for those who bet/raise with mouse
(like a 453.25$ bet).

The granularity would be better set to integer dollar
or even better: the big blind.

Less granularity also reduce the risk of communicating hands
via cents-bet in team play.

I think stud and razz tables are beyond repair.
The programming team clearly did not work enough on these tables.

With 100K buy-in for 1M prize, buy-in 10% of pay-out.
Then you're even if you play 10 times, lose 9 times, win once.
That is, you need to win > 10% of times.

According to a simulator http://www.pokercalculatoronline.com/
here are the winning chances of these pockets vs 9 random hands
22 is 12%, TT is 17%, KK is 26%, AA is 31%
JTo is 12%, JTs is 15%, AKo is 16%, AKs is 19%

Therefore, all these hands are > 10% chance to win
and it becomes interesting for bingo players to enter this tourney
and all-in systematically with any of these hands vs 9 players until one tourney pays out.

Welcome to bingo world.

The tourney structure will be irrelevant since it will become another table 5
scaled by a factor 100 where any random hand tries to suck out whole table
early with a buy-in high single bet.

at GM, pay-out is buy-in 25K (26K with fees) for 125K pay-out,
that is buy-in is 20% (or 20.8%) of pay-out for 10-handed tourney.
A bingo player would have to wait premium hands like KK or AA or AKs
that have around 20% chance (or higher) to win to all-in like a donk vs 9 players,
which is too much patience for him to enter.

This is why bingo does not work well at GM.

Hi,
I played in a (what used to be 6K tourney) now a 'Texas High Stakes' tourney and came 2nd (exhibit A)
--Hand #21184467 ends---
G50raham finishes in 2nd place [7200]

However when I refreshed my chips i lost the 6K entrance fee but did NOT get the 7200 prize money, c'mon guys, Nightwriter and Swampy make us donate chips to play for the ChipMates and if I dont have any they'll beat me!!!

I will consider suggesting it to the developers.

Suggestions to developpers ? U can do it ?
Ok, here is mine:

- Tourney finishes are not reported in game logs except for rank 3rd and 2nd.
I'd like at least 1st to be reported tooand if possible all others.

I've heard far too many ppl speak about the gold mine being the ruin of their hard earned chip bank ... does anyone else like me think a lower staked table would have been better?

I know that nobody is forced to play the GM - but when its the top-end table and your mates are there ... you want to play that kind of table.

I think a tourney table with nothing over 20k ... maybe 15k as entry fee would have been a better progression from the much loved TT table?

Gold Mine was set up, because so much players were asking for a higher buy in tournament. We choose to make it a 25K buy-in. Now, they are even asking for an other tournament table with a higher buy-in. We already told them, when we put the gold mine up, that there will be no higher buy-in tournament in the future.

Now, if players are logging in at Gold Mine, they are aware that if they lose, 25K are gone.

I dont know if the Studd tables are still full of glitches or not, but maybe, if they cant solve the problem, one of the Studd tables can be changed in a Tournament with a 15K buy-in. It is just my thought, a possibility to look at.

Changes who have be made so far with the new system :

1. Omaha 1 is hi/lo turbo again.

2. All omaha tables are hi/lo.

3. Texas Pot Limit, set at 1400 buy-in.

4. Sit out settings :

- 10 hands for normal tables,
- 15 hands for tournament tables.

After this, you will be ejected automatically from the table.

The following changes cant be made by Emil. Only the software owner is able to :

- showing number of players who are waiting at a table,
- showing the buy-in for a table,
- sound back at the tables,
- showing which level the tournament is on.
- mark the division between the normal tables and the tournament tables.

Please, dont hesitate to tell us about any other problems. Thank you.

That's a work in progress (omaha and holdem tourneys only).
65 tourneys were spied and logged on Oct 29 (but 13 are uncomplete)
14 tourneys on Oct 30, (but 10 are uncomplete)
91 tourneys on Oct 31, (but 2 are uncomplete)
65 tourneys today at the time i'm writing (all complete)

Of course there are tourneys that were not spied these days (spy can be stopped for maintenance/debugging, network insulation can happen, server can kick off the spy for being connected too long, etc.)

A tourney log is complete when both winners and players roster is known by the spy.
A tourney log is uncomplete when the spy started to spy when the tourney already started and was not able to lock the players roster.

1 tourney log was abnormal because one of the finisher was eliminated for sitting-out too many hands. This is the main problem of the spying: The server notifies 2nd and 3rd winner but not 1st: it must be deduced. And the deduction is not as easy as one could think: two players finishing at the same time stand up in random order.
If 2nd finisher is kicked out for sitting out too many hands, he stands with a non zero stack and may be the last one to have won a pot if his auto-posted Big-Blind was left unchallenged in last hand.

Hi....I dont know if anyone is aware of this problem yet, cause i havent read thru the threads, but i just wanted to let ya know...There is some sort of glitch on table 4 at least....I'm not sure about the rest of the tables....but if you lose your chips...you are booted from the table, and you have to rebuy, but the avatar always appears to have stayed seated if there is nobody waiting, but it looks like to other players that the player is rebuying on a full table....you never see them leave the seat....and rejoin the table....but it says in the game chat that they rejoined....it looks to other players that they are rebuying and it is causing arguments...last night and this morning, i was playing and this happened.....people fighting on the table over it...please look into it, thank you very much :)

Time-out speed is way too fast on Pot Limit Table,
we are constantly beeped when thinking about pot odds and size of bet/raise.
This is really annoying because it induces a turbo behavior from players
on a table that despises this kind of play.

After I red your post, I went to table 4, and tried it. Every player who loses his chips at a full table will be ejected. If they are ppl waiting or not.

It looks like, that we got the same kind of glitch as at the old system. Players are leaving, but the avatar is not ejected. We will have a look at it. Thanks for letting us know.

Sounds (betting e.t.c.) are now activated in the game again.

Tourney levels can be seen in the lobby.
