this post is for every player on the site not just CMs/MODs
(it might be a waste of my time but i just had to write something about this issue)
I have been a member of this site now for a couple of month, and i have got to tell you all, it is like being back at school. i dont mean that badly towards any person, but why is there so much bullying!!
When i went to school i was bullied alot by other students. they would beat me up, take my belonging, etc. but worst of all they would call me names! it might sound stupid but the name calling was the worst bit about it. after about a year of constant bullying i moved schools (i had no choice but to run away and let them win). now its been 6 years (because i was 14 yrs old at the time) and i still have visions/dreams of them calling me and its not nice at all!!
So i join a site to play poker, and i start to read the forum post. and i cant believe the same kind of bullying is happening here (thats why people are leaving the site). it might be funny to the people who are doing it but to the one's recieving it, it hurts them so much!!!
We can all be nice, caring, welcoming people (just like CMjohnnyb which i think is a great people and should be made a MOD). we just need to relax abit. ( most problems can and will be sorted)
you can stand with me against all the bullying or not!
*If i can get 50 people to read and reply to this post then we should have no worries in the furture of the site, because us 50 or more players can work together to overcome any problems we have, without the argueing.

i have opened up to you all with my own past in hope it will make you realise what you are doing to the other player,
i was honest and meaningful in what i said and would like other players to be the same!!
and to really think of there actions before doing them!!!

CMtripleX I agree totally with what you are saying and I feel your pain, I have said before that the biggest threat to this site is the swearing, name calling and vitriolic personal attacks on individuals, these are far worse ni my opinion than cheating (which I have previously stated is bad and the cheats if proven should be punished).
I will stand with you and be counted as 1 of the 50 may peace and freindship prevail on this site.

I tick your box TripleX. Bullying has obviously made you stronger for the experience.
I was at a table when a well known Forum author /member joined and he was blanked completely. He tried the usual compliments and hello's before a not to polite reply asked him to go.
I found it disturbing that I didn't welcome him! I had followed the pack and silently bullied. After your comments TripleX, I will ensure my caring attitude is not silenced and thanks for sharing your experiences.

I agree, but isnt this just adding to all the pointless threads now.
Lets just get on with it, then see what happens.
There too many threads with exactly the same boring content, so repetitive.
Just play poker.

Its beena mess for ages hovis, ive been here for a year now. So I think i know what im talking about.
Anyway, its boring the arse of me now so im gonna stop reading this forum.

let just try and play some cards! surely thats what we all originally googled this site for! just remember its all just sticks and stones tho guys and theyre only ventin their frustration of their lives... thats all. lets all just lighten up a bit.

if ppl talk then they talk if they dont who cares.make ur freinds and remember them. the number of small minded foolish children that cause trouble on this site have dropped the number of mods and cms sort it pritty fast.cmtriplex remember m8 ppl only get to you if u let them egnor them and they get to there self.....but will also tick ur box

Well that certainly told me. Good job I'm not so sensitive.
God help us if we are to be affected so deeply by something typed by faceless morons (there's your cue).
(and God help ME if you ever become a CM - I probably wouldn't get to the small blind before you took offence to something I said and muzzled me)
Switch off the machine once in a while and enjoy the sunshine, coz this ain't real.

baldyman listen, its not the point of it being real or not the people here are real, it might be over a forum or at a table but its still bullying, and it isnt fair.
so can you keep your nasty opinions to yourself!! (any good comments i will be pleased to read!!)
and can you not try and cause trouble with other great players on my post, thank you!!!
and i dont think bustinvagas will take offence of you just trying to act bad!!

this is gettin bad!!how can any1 get bullied in a freepoker room???get a grip people thers real kids out ther that CANNOT walk away from this subject!!! heaven help you if yous ever sit at a real poker table!!!no disrespect to anyone who feels that they have been bullied on here but is it really that bad???

hey no disrespect mate,
but i was bullied at school and i know how it feels and i didn't want to say but they found my msn addy and bullied me on that, that was bad.
i stand up to everyone now, but theres some that can't and might get hurt and upset about it, don't forget it is a site for all ages!
and i dont see why they should leave the site over it!!

trip am sorry if im being harsh but you say you stand up to everyone now and so we/ you should !!all im sayin is WE all can hide on here but in the flesh some people cannot !! best way to beat them is confront them and never back down!easier said than done i know but ...just stand up to them

exactly mate, i have learned never to back down from past experience.
* the site seems to be running ok now, but if anyone ever feels they are being bullied from anyone on the site or in flesh (at school or work etc). then they are always welcome to disguss it on this thread and i'll try my best to help :)

Haven't read all the thread-
but the simple answer is that all bullies, are bullies because of their own insecurity, people may not realise this straight away but one day we'll all look back and realise what they were and pity them.

I agree if the bullying stop and we all do as the game should be played and get on with each other this site would be brill no need to bully have fun and lets all play POKER and enjoy it

we as moderators are trying our best to improve this site, personally i think we have came on leaps and bounds, plus we have a lot of fantastic and interesting fun people on here, yes we do have a few mindless idiots, but they will and are been dealt with on a daily basis.

just read the post and im not yet here when trip X made it but i was so sad when marthaw said that she is not playin cause of this "bully thing"
then i remember what i did past few days.
