foolme:
I just dont get what you mean deville when you say bingo players wont last long.
Well...
With a high/low split, you have people quartering, splitting -and often don't know "AA from 7.2os" in terms of a good Omaha hand, so they go there to make money for the tourney tables.
"Step right up, everybody is a winner!"
foolme:
I would want to play omaha hi though over omaha turbo because omaha turbo no limit is not a offical poker game.
Yeah...what is wrong there, is that it's never no limit if it's High/Low Omaha. I've been a broken record about it since the table showed up, because this place is teaching a poker game which is useless if you ever would like to learn to play something in real life.
Then we put it in the league...lol.
For me, it's like randomly deciding pawns can move backwards in Chess because people decided it would be fun. It ain't Chess anymore, but rather a mutation; if you will.
You know, when we put in just a "High Omaha table" -it wasn't played in the league yet, and Omaha High/Low no limit attracted the same people...while most just avoided it.
That all changed when the League started and people began to play it.
Therefore:
I do think an Omaha High no limit table, would attract many people now, as there are no splits...and this game is specifically designed to be played no limit.
But you want to look at how to play it properly...?
It's a
post flop game...and going allin pre-flop is just playing keno and hoping to hit. It would kill you in real life....big time. It's like being a donk Omaha player to any pro...and people get shunned for doing that at a real life table.
