it's flash player. installed update yesterday. chat gone since then

Thanks for the confirmation.

It had been confirmed by Adobe the latest Flash Player Update (ver.10.1.82.76) is causing some chat to auto scroll to the top.
They are working with SW developers to resolve the problem.
AFAIK Ver. 10,1,53,64 is the latest without the problem.

For those did the roll back and still have the bug, check if your OS is set to "download updates without asking".

I restored my puter to before 8/12 and I still have the chat problem : (

Can you check the version of Flash Player installed?

If you have the problem just install version 10 flash player guys, not 10.1 .. saves a full system restore... only took me about 5 mins to find and complete.... much quicker than restoring system...

HELP!!!! I just unistalled flash and now i can't get on the tables. I can't figure out how to not download AFAIK Ver. 10,1,53,64. The link you Dev provided is for 10.1 and I installed something from that link that wants me to run it every time I restart my computer. I am computer illiterate, I need help.

I just re-installed flash and I can play again, but of course chat is still a mess. I GIVE UP.

Does that has something to do with Mcafee AntiVirus scan?

Also go to control panel/add and remove progrms, check if Flash Player is installed.

When I turn my computer on, I get a message saying there's a new version of adobe flash player available, click to install or remind me later.
So far, I've asked it to remind me later, and it keeps reminding me lol.

I'm guessing that if I install the new version I'll get this chat problem, but I think it's getting annoyed at me constantly saying "remind me later".

What should I do?

the problem is with flashplayer 10. have a look in another part of forum for the fix.

Ok all i tried the version 10 ended up uninstalling and going back to version 9 everything is ok now. So if you are still having problems with version 10 uninstall it and go back to version 9

been using google chrome explorer but couldn't use the chat box, being a total technophobe swapped explorers to windows, slow but it worked.....having seen the sollution was to do with flash player, got dev to explain what to do on msn to my son.....process completed, chat is now not working on either google chrome or windows now...lmao..i give up :~(

awwwwww, poor Chezzathegreat. Try doing what Krazy1 did. You have to get your chat working or we will never hear you "lol's" and "lmao's" again.

I made the mistake a few days ago of upgrading flash player too. I can't find fp-9 anywhere online. when i find one that says flash player 9 and try to download it it says its the newer version 10.1. filehippo.com has all the earlier versions.. you dont have to go back as far as version 9, just the version prior to the latest..dont forget to uninstall current version 1st and reboot pc

i installed version 9 on google chrome, chat worked AGAIN, wouldnt let me upload video's from facebook without installing new version, installed it and lost chat on poker, now using google chrome for everything else and firefox for poker lol

must be catching it started on me yesterday(mitcham) flyingfinn suggested adobeflash player was the problem took it off and its still doing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got to remove the new version and reinstall the old version. Otherwise not going to help. And watch out that you do not accidentally let the adobe automatically re-upgrade.

why is it only affecting the chat on poker? as far as i can tell everything else is fine....

ok this is a problem with Just for fun software........yes face book uses the newer version of adobe.....i have the same problem. And yes it is a pain in the butt. Just for fun has updated the new version on the newer tables they have but have not updated the older table.....i have put a request in for chuck to fix this problem fingers crossed it has worked. We will just have to sit and wait to see. It is a pain having to uninstall and reinstall every time I go to face book.....only thing i can say is be patient i will keep you informed if and when Chuck fixes the problem......

The Problem is with Flashplayer 10, If you go back to an earleier version it works ok.

ok every one I heard from Chuck......seems when pluginpoker switched to just for fun they lost the code they need to update the tables so as far as fixing the problem you have to stay on adobe 9 and keep going back and forth from adobe 9 and 10. Chuck also said that adobe 10 has a bug in it that adobe is trying fix but it still wont work with the red tables. So the only option is for Emil to switch the tables to the newer avatar blue tables. So basicly adobe 10 will never work on the old red style tables in the chat box. Hope this helps and is more clear for you.
