I am kinda bored, so I will comment on in issue thats been bugging me.
A couple of months ago in the United States, I am not sure about other places. There has started to be more and more 3d movies available to see in the movie theather. Years ago watching a 3d movie was rare. In the present there are a lot of cool new features involving TV, such as blue ray disc which enchanes the image greatly. Which I dont have a problem with at all, especally when watching football. On the other hand to much of a good thing is not always good, mainly with 3d at the movie theather. I am sure a lot of people find it hard to find spare time to get out and enjoy a movie. When you go its already gonna be costly, with popcorn, tickets, etc. I am not physic, but I predict soon we wont have a choice to watch a movie in 3d, maybe all movies will be in 3d. Another question, does 3d take away from understanding the meaning of a movie, kind of a distraction when things are all up in your face lol.
Btw I am not some old man who hates technology, I am quite young lol.

Popcorn and stuff should be banned from theatres.

my left eye dominating my right eye so much,
I prolly don't see in stereovision enough for the googles to work,
so all this stuff is useless for me...

Anybody with Monocular vision -also called Monopsia- it's basically impossible to view a 3D movie without getting dizzy, suffering headaches...while the screen remains mostly blurry to the viewer.
According to the American Optometric Association (AOA), one between 3 people have vision problems that made them unable to enjoy the effects of three-dimensional (3D) movies.
So if a 3rd of the populace cannot see movies in 3D...I just cannot fathom all movies being offered in this format.
It's a great way to doctor an existing movie to be shown in 3D, giving the spectator goggles; and charging up to 3 dollars more to see the same movie. Another way to charge too much for an already expensive form of entertainment.
I mostly think that they know people are waiting for movies to go to Cable, and the video stores; so they are hoping people spend their hard earned cash for the "unique" experience. Three dimensional televisions are an option to some, but not for those with a very common eye disorder.

back in the day, movies had to rely solely on acting and plot. Now with sophisticated special effects, movie makers can still make a buck with a flimsy story, providing only fodder for the visualist, leaving the thinking man high and dry. I've seen 5 movies (kids movies) in 3d and have enjoyed them all with the novelty of 3d assisting toward that. I found that the parts of the screen that were not in my direct line of sight were a bit blurry and I could not watch 3d for any great length of time.
The upshot for me is....if the movie is average then 3d will help put bums on seats. I personally would rather watch a great movie with a top story-line than an average 3d one. It would always be preferable to have a choice, which unfortunately, may not continue to be the case.
