We would like to thank you for all your kind words and support you have given us during this week.
Special thanks to Froggy and Lara for being in touch with my husband, Ash and my daughter Bethany and keeping you all informed of my situation.

I hope you don't mind but I would like to share you a small a blog of my experience.

Sunday 13th April, I was in video conference with froggy, trying to help her sort her out a problem with her keyboard she was having, I was also in a phone call with my uncle in Spain to see if he could help too.
I started to have a funny experience in my ears, then a pain started in my head which became to intense. To cut along story short, I was rushed to hospital and 2 and half hours later I was told I had a brain haemorrhage cause by an aneurysm.
We were told that I was lucky that I was still here. And the aneurysm would bleed again and would be fatal. A team of neurosurgeons said the only choice I had was an operation where coils were inserted from a site in the top of my leg and fed through my body to my brain, the risks were major stroke on the way up, and the coils could rupture the aneurysm causing instant death on the table. Myself and my family decided that I would take the chance, The top surgeon cancelled a meeting he should have in Paris, and after a 5 hour operation, I was in intensive care and everything had been a total success  I felt I had been dealt a five Ace hand. I am so lucky.

I'm at home now and im still in quit a bit of pain caused by the blood that is still left in my brain, but I am taking tablets that should take care of it, I just feel sorry for Ash that he has to set the alarm to make sure I take the tabs at 2 a.m and 4 a.m.
I can't drive my car for 6 months and I am not allowed to fly for a few months, so we have had to cancel our holiday to Florida.

It's a surreal situation for us at the moment, and the family is very emotional. But I feel the luckiest person alive at the moment.

Thank you once again from all of us and I will see you at the tables soon. But please don't make me shout because I have a headache!!! 

I know the risks only too well!
So glad that you're on the road to recovery, my missus sends her to best to Ash, having nursed me for 3 months she knows what a pain in the neck us invalids can be lol!
At least you had the 'coiling' so no huge scar on the bonce!

Without going all slushy... sod the holiday and cars etc - you have a future with your wonderful family to look forward to, and thanks (to whoever you believe in) for that!
