There is a time to raise, a time to fold and time quit. that is what I'm doing here in an attempt to try to reach new horizons.
I leave not because any problems with site or with anybody, as a matter of fact i think
I was starting to make some friends here at TPFR.
Let me tell you that there are a good bunch of good people here, Many many more
good people than bad.
This site is where I was born as a poker player and I could only be more appreciative of
one thing; its players, you guys helped me grow in hold'em matters.
Not to say that I know a lot but the little I know it is thanks to all of you.
I know that to keep learning I need to spend more time playing for at least a little more than pennies because there is only so much you can learn here or at any other free poker site.
Wish me luck as I do to everyone of you.
Mac.
P.S. Try not to cry too much for my leaving, and if you just cant bear it, remember there
is always counseling. LOOOL.

Nice to see someone announcing that they're leaving without the usual misplaced angst-ridden claptrap.
Well done.
Good luck.
As I played a hand in your development I'll send on my bank details so you can pay in my half of your winnings.
Good luck

Being good at free poker doesn't necessarily equate to being good at real poker.

Wow thank you all so much for those words, I didnt think anyone would care much lol.
You all will be missed for sure.
And coldeck FYI I'm not bad at real poker either, I've been playing very low stakes and
$60.00 torneys for a year now.
Very proudly I tell you that even though i have nothing to show for yet, my winnings are more than my losings.
The other day though I went to this big casino in Puyallup Washington and played no limit for the first time and them sharks kicked my butt like never before lool.
I only lost $200.00 but it was worth every pennie as I learned very much in that session.
Thank you all again.

There is no honour in taking another person's money via a game of chance
stick to free poker

And if you do decide to pursue a career as a professional poker player, remember this : "He who folds first folds fastest".
