When I try to open a table, the screen loads breifly and then turns black. It has done this in the past and I just clicked a different table or logged out and then in again and got it to work. The past couple of days I haven't been able to play at all.
I have tried the instructions on page one of this thread with no luck. Any suggestions?
Thanks

one hint could be the URL displayed in the address bar of the black page

All it says is: tables.pluginpoker.com-Poker-Microsoft Internet Explorer. Not really an adress bar, just at the top of the window.
However, for one second after I click the table it brings up something about "clientflash" and "port" with a number following it.
Is it trying to tell me there is an error somewhere?

ah, i dont use explorer. surely there is some way to see the URL maybe right-click in the black areas, and select properties.

When I right click the black area my only options are zoom in, zoom out, settings and it tells me the version of flash player I have. Which is 10,0,12,36.
I don't see why I have a problem, I've not changed any settings on my computer. The only thing I can think of that's different since the last time I've played is apparently this site has crashed. I don't know.

All I can suggest is waiting for MOD_coolhand75 to come online tomorrow, he may hopefully have the answer you're looking for as to why you are experiencing this problem..
In the mean time maybe look through past post's in this thread to see if there is any other options available for you to try :)

I went back through the process on page one and downloaded the version of flash player in the link. I currently have version 10,0,12,36. Is this the correct version, or do I need to download the "shockwave flash player"?

Just to let everyone know another possible fix to a connection problem.
I gave it a couple of days and tried again to open a table with no luck. So I tried to open a table I've never tried before, a tournament table, and was able to connect and get in the room. I went and deleted my temporary internet files and came back and now I can connect to all tables.
Hope this helps someone in the future, thanks for your help guys ;)

Hiya,
I have a problem where, everytime i'm at a table recently, after a few hands, the chips 'stick' on the table. The only way to fix it is to stand up, which means I lose my chip count and my place at the table.
Another problem i'm having is that the screen will freeze, and I end up being booted from the table because i've taken too long to respond (although i'm right here, waiting for IT to respond to me!)
Is it my machine, or is it something else?

Actually that is a Plug-in issue that was fixed until the last few days. (After all the database issues.) We are working on a list of issues that are back since the reset and will notify plugin. Until then, all you can do is refresh the screen. This will cause you to bank any chips that you have won and start over. If you dont want to bank, only fix is to deal with it. You can read the bets in the chat box.

thanks coolhandluke and adam22.
First, I had a heart attack reading adam22's post. :)
Then I relaxed after reading coolhandlukes post. :)
I hope they can fix it. This site is totally worth dealing with issues like this.
Oh, and while i'm on the subject ... MODs here do a great job, the regulars are fun to talk to, and the poker's addictive! Keep up the good work, every1.

my guess is that you are using windows.
try exiting explorer, deleting your temporary internet files, and restarting explorer.
alternately, download firefox and use that instead of that explorer trash.

been trying to sign my wife up to play but each time I register her it replys that her own email address has been used ?? How could that be if she receives her own emails to this computer on her own page ? and has never ever signed up to play before since she is learning how to play the game ? what do I need to do to get her signed in >??

Start with the first post on this thread. Either the firewall (doubt it) or the Flash Player (most likely). Follow exactly as written. When the step says Shut Down and restart...do it please. It seems a lot of people have a hard time with this step but I assure you it is there for a reason.

I have a connection problem ...
When I log in to poker, the lobby screen loads fine, but when I try to load individual tables the window goes white and the table takes really long to load, a few minutes. Refreshing doesn't seem to help much. I've installed the latest Flash Player from Adobe, tried using different browsers, and also disabled my firewall, but the problem persists... :o(
Any advice?
Thanks

Try reloading the flash player BUT first unistall the current version, SHUTDOWN, then reinstall. Take the steps on the first post of this thread. However typically the white screen is firewall. Maybe try to add the site as an approved site.

Seph - I had probs last night ie. I could see the table window but couldn't call up a table, despite seeing the player names alter when I refreshed the table window: I closed everything down and restarted my machineand everything was tip-top again.
