A day in the life of the village called table 1
Season 2 scene 5
The places events and characters portrayed in this work are purely fictional any resemblance to people living or dead are purely intentional.
No New Characters
Scene 5 begins
The scene opens outside the village post office were stands twr506 hand almost on the doorknob
twr506 wait up calls Denisey from behind .
Hello denisey says twr506 how r u today
Oh I'm fine thank you says denisey where's that brother of yours this morning?
Oh CMtwr506 I haven't seen him since the extraordinary Village Town Meeting he held the other night
Beverley who joins the group at that exact moment (slightly breathless) says that's funny I haven't seen him either, wonder were he could be.
You don't think something has happened to him do you? Says Denisey
The three friends look at each other with concern.(where concern came from I don't know)
Surely we would have heard something by now if it had says twr506
Arriving at that precise moment is Daniella who says I looked for him at the Ghost and Ghouls night in Beverly's Bloomers but couldn't see him.
That was a great night says Beverley the costumes were very effective
Yes says Daniella I particularly liked your Ghost costume Denisey
Thank you says Denisey I thought twr506's costume was something else.
Yes the three girls all say at once but why did u have a pair of footballs one on either side of your head
twr506 looking very sheepish says I misread the theme title I thought it said Ghots or Goalies and I didn't know what a Ghots was so I went as a Goalie.
Just then the bread delivery van pulls to a stop by the small group and out gets hovis.
Morning all says hovis have you seen z1zu at all I have not seen him for a few days now and I'm beginning to get concerned.
Turning the corner and joining the group as hovis speaks comes Krazy1
Has any 1 seen baby or yschi recently says Krazy1
The group look at one another in deep concern (how they got to deep concern is a mystery I thought they were in the village)
That means that 4 people are missing says Daniella
Yes says Beverley CMtwr506, baby, z1zu and yschi
Just at that precise moment or it could have been a little bit earlier Nurse Martha walks down the street on the opposite side of the road walking towards the clinic.
The small group of people watch stunned into silence
hovis stirs and says It is Wednesday isn't it??
the group stirs and and Denisey calls out Nurse Martha wait a minute please
Martha stops turns around and joins the group saying hello as she does
On your own today Martha says twr506
Yes says Martha
Not seen chip at all says Beverley
No says Martha I haven't seen chip since last week.
Strange says hovis its Wednesday and no chip hhhhhmmmm??
That means 5 are missing says Daniella
Its strange says Martha I got so used to having chip following me on a Wednesday that I feel lost now.
Flojo and CW arrive at this point in the story coming together from the direction of the woods
Flojo says I saw chip going off with yschi in the direction of Village table 2 last week
Exiting the Beauty Emporium and joining the group outside the post office comes HappyAli
Hello every one says HappyAli I could not help overhearing and thought I had better contribute what I know.

Oh yes right says HappyAli I saw z1zu ride off last week on his bicycle with baby sitting in the basket they went in the direction of village table 6
I've heard says hovis that the new council boss is taking a hard line over the villages and wants to abandon them and move everybody into a multi play multi game large town.
Shock Horror registers on the faces of the crowd
At that very instant poolshark and forgot arrive
I have heard that they plan to build a bypass round every village so that nobody can then find the way back to the village if they leave it says forgot
Across the road inside of Beverly's Bloomers bobby watches the group through the window and decides to join in.
upon exiting Beverly's Bloomers bobby says I haven't seen ken for a few days either he hasn't brought me any deliveries since last week.
Shellbri joins bobby outside of Beverly's Bloomers and says that's correct we are running low on things like crisps and nuts
The crowd mutters collectively (that means together)
Come to think about it says bobby I haven't seen BigDegs for a couple of days not since he decided to take a walk to the village of table 4
well CW what are you going to do about it says hovis.
CW looks round at the crowd and says what do you mean what am I going to do about it
Well you are the law here says Denisey and 5 NO 6 of our residents are missing.
Ok says CW I will telephone headquarters and inform them of the situation and ask for help and advice
Bobby says what wee need to do is organise a search party when I was in SA dyveing w..
The crowd quickly disperses muttering things like "OH my goodness is that the time" and "forgot to turn the oven off" and "must dash" and "where does the day go to"
Shellbri laughs and says blimey bobby you sure haven't lost the golden touch of crowd control
bobby turns to Shellbri and says well darlin I guess we had better put an advert in the village news about Saturday, what shall we do next
Shellbri looks at bobby and says what about a "Weddings" theme people dress up as brides, bridesmaids, grooms, best man etc
People think they know where Johnny goes
When will we find out the truth
Those two lines begin with a P and a W

Village Council Meet
Yes the Chairperson of the Village Elders CMtwr506 called an extraordinary Village Town Meeting to discuss the new business ventures and the impact that they would have on the Village.
It was resolved that a small committee be set up t o assess the impact.
The committee comprising of jojomacca, flojo and Gamester were charged with reporting back to another extraordinary Village Town Meeting called for in 2 weeks time.
This reporter was dismayed and disgusted that the important subject of naming the Village was not even mentioned, this reporter says when are the Elders going to get it together and resolve this issue.

The fishbone trail is still appearing nightly and the police appear to have no suspects this reporter solicited this comment from the authorities

constable CW said
"I will catch the person or persons committing this heinous crime, its just matter of time"

Yes the wheat yeast and potato shortage is still keeping prices high and seems no nearer to being resolved, when asked to comment on the situation CMtwr506 said "NO COMMENT"

Hey Johnny. THanks again my friend you really do brighten up my week. Thanks for all the effort you put into these storys. It is greatly appreciated. It seems that out beautiful village has been taken away by aliens though. Whre the hell has my pub gone? Where on earth is the beauty emporium? Hopefully these questions will be answered soon.
