with the sad sad news of our team captain leaving,i don't know if there are any volunteers to pick up that position???

personally i think to disband the team would be an option.
so far,3 member have been asked to pick up capt-ship and declined.
also with the name of the team being the wonka wanna bees...no longer suited without the man himself.

The last thing Barry would want is to scratch the team. What better way to remember his contributions, than to take his team and his name forward.

We all suffer as you, we all remember those words of his, we all want him to stay, we all want, but we cant have. Take his memory and make it live again.

I don't think we should disban the team.

To be honest, i just want the team to keep on going,
i no we are all gutted and upset about wonka,
but we can't just quit!

Its his team, formed by him and I for one will give whatever support to him

paradox.......i heard from Barry today. With everything that is going on he has chosen to leave the site and never to return. Breaks my heart and I dont think I can run this team. I would help as much as I can but to run it I cant.

I am devastated to learn of Mod CWonkas situation. It does not suprise me that he cannot continue as Forum moderater because in some part of the attitude of certain other Mods.
The forum is an outlet for discussion. fun and challanging topical conversation and not a means for Moderaters to endorse their priviledge as site overseers.
Some Mods are quite simply "affected" by their status and "police" the site in an overbearing and sometimes sarcastic manner. Mod CWonka has brought a refreshing sense of fun to the site and has always responded to darn right rudiness with a sense of dignity and a laugh.
I owe my own return th membership to Mod CWonka for, it is only my own opinion, I was disqualified by one of these supercilious, overbearing Mods to whom I refer. A totally ignorant article!!
I will support the team if we move forward and wish to keep our original title
