we didn't play bad...cards just plain ole REFUSED to let US move anyone. Rivers would save em, our good hands only come against each other.....frustrating! grrrrr

We are halfway through the season and I feel its time I stand down as captain and let someone else take over the remaining matches.

As you all know my health is not the best at the moment and I feel now is the time to pass on the responsibility of the team to someone else.

I will hopefully be available to play, not sure how to pass it on or if anyone wants to take over.

Would just like to say you have done a fantastic job organising us, and the games for us. I realise how difficult it has be at times. Unfortunately our games have done nothing to lift spirits and must make it seem, is it worth it ?
Its very sad, but I respect your decision for the reasons you have said.
Hopefully we can still keep the team together, and hopefully you will continue to play.
I wish you the very best of everything always luv.
and hope that with this weight off your shoulders, it will go a long way towards making you feel better.

Oh Beverly I echo what Trev has said, you have been the main driving force of the team and I truly mean that.

Thanks for your messages, can I just explain though the poker is not affecting my health lol its more like my health is affecting my poker as I dont seem to play half as much so feel like i am missing threads and not arranging matches as quickly as needed.

Firstly,it would seem that lightening does strike twice..I watched nearly all the match last night and once again was left cursing those sodding Poker Gods....just unbelievable bad luck guy's & girls ...:-(

Secondly....And far more importantly, I must express my dissapointment at Bev's decision to stand down as skipper...as Trev has said, you have been the driving force behind the VP's.

I know that you have been feeling a bit jaded and out of sorts with the game recently,,,and if I thought that this was the reason you are stepping aside,,,then I would be beating a path to your door and trying to persuade you otherwise...but I fear that it is not...and so must respect your decsion,,,and thankyou for all that you have done for us..

Bev...I can only concur with all our other team maties / friends. You have indeed done a stirling job and I really do appreciate that it's not always been an easy job to get everything organised in a timely fashion.

Hopefully we can continue with the team venture and I for one am happy to take my turn / stint at doing the organising. Maybe we can take it in turns, spread the load :)

Good news team
I have spoken to Den and Bev tonight and it has been decided that Den will take the reins for a time :)
Its probably to late to make much of this season after our bad run, but zixxernine can be included and we can just enjoy the rest of the season without pressure.
Hope you will all give Den the support, that you have all commited so far.
