To be frank, both sides of the brain are pretty much still at loggerheads with each other, so i had to bring my heart into the equation.
Right brain says - get on with life.
Left brain says - ridiculous, fight for what you think is right.
Heart says - Come on you two sides, ask yourself a question. Apart from the injustice, will the both of you still enjoy the company of the Pokerpuffs and want to be part of it ?
Right and left brain and heart unanomiously agrees - YES
Think about it, i woud not dare dream that i would be getting friends all over the world with different nationalities and culture if i were not part of this team. This team gave me hope in my time of loneliness, in my time of despair, that everyday ills can be solved just by being part of a human circle (which at one time in my life, i retreated away from ).
I do not want all this to end.
I am into season two in this team. After all the drama of last season, i would not want another session to my therapists. :)
Dare i say, i brought you in, gave you full support to run this team, and what a great job you have done.
Do not let your anger on a select few overcome you. Pour your anger on to the opposition of the remaining games and lets win it together.
I witnessed our team put up a commanding performance during last week's friendlies with great oomph, i was left to face 3 opposition, but i knew i had to dig deep inside to overcome the odds, i had to try win it although it was just a friendly, i wanted to win it. I managed to pull it off with the help of the boisterous cheers and support of the Pokerpuffs and a lot of help from ladyluck. This win, in a frindly gave me the zest to continue on our journey together to attain what i believe most of us set out to do, is to enjoy as a team and to get the fight back into our lives.
Yes, my heart still aches from time to time regarding the injustice. All i have to do is to rise above it and treat it as a minor hiccup towards the podium. We may have fell at a hurdle but the race is still on if we persevere.

Left brain says - i do not understand one bit.
Heart says - Both of you, continue the bickerings, it strenghtens me. lol

ps : i personally would like to see some transperancy though. Batankyu's post in the league results thread has remain unanswered for more than 72 hours. It seems no one, not even the league committee can pinpoint which rule was broken by us. Courtesy ? Hmmm.
pps : it would be great too if we can just have the list of names who voted on the decision unless of course everything has to be shrouded in secrecy. |
