My view is and reply to Matt was this:

... our team wasn't suppossed to start until the off-season commenced (1st Sept) and this season was over ... but we have been allowed to at least form our team early and practice until then.

So, I think your idea is a great one, especially regarding our 6 ninja players fresh to the league - the other 4 of us have been attached to other teams during the season.

However, once a player has played for a team in the cup, they should be 'cup-tied', I think.

So, one ninja (out the 6) per team would seem fair if this idea was a goer.
