Well as my football team just failed in the division playoffs I'm not sure I agree with 2 divisions - we're creating an official pecking order of teams, even if we all know unofficially who we think the 'best' teams are.

The results were so divided as to omaha or just holdem that I don't really mind. Would be happy to see it as two seperate leagues or keep things as they are.
What I would say is that we struggled to get players for omaha games so as a team I'd like to think we could try to be more positive about omaha to generate ourselves some good vibes!

I like omaha, but i agree that not many people really like it and it will be hard to get teams for those games. I'm ok either way: omaha, no omaha. The 2 divisions thing seems like it will make people leave the teams in the lower division and that would be sad. Generally speaking i defer all decisions to the team/captain. I'm happy to be a mindless poker drone.lol

I personally dont like omaha, but I dont think it should disappear completly, I would prefer one big holdem league with an omaha knock out cup.

The currant format means that it could be years before you play all teams in a competative game. Lets play the fun option.

Just my opinion happy to go along with the majority.

Omaha is like marmate (You either love it or hate it lol)

I've always liked omaha, but it can be alot harder to play in a tourney. And as we are playing as a team it makes it extremely harder to pass chips etc...

I wouldn't like to drop it out of the league as its alot more fun then texas, i just think we need to talk about new stratergies etc and be more open minded about it...

If omaha is kept in the league i can always do some research to figue out the best way to play as a team if anyone is struggling.

(Or maybe emil could alter one of the tournies into a raz table where it changes every 10 hands from texas to omaha lol.)

Anyway i'm happy, great team, great players, we are going to have a great season either way.

ok team i need to post by the tenth i need input i asked if everyone would post when its a good time for you to talk about this on msn still no replys. so i will take everything you have posted here instead. i will wait until the 9th and post here what i will post. Then will post it on the 10th to give anyone a chance to reply to my post before i post our wants.

Re Scoring:- I think points should be awarded for a win, as it stands most wins does not establish league position, 10 tight wins would not be ahead of 9 big wins and a tight loss, so the team with most wins would no top the league. In football (Soccer Ed) terms that means goal difference would establish league positioning. Individual points could go for and against to establish top scorers and would only count in the event of a tie.

Any volunteers to go vice skipper, I would be more than happy with any of my team mates doing so.

I am happy enough with The Hustlers, also I am not worried if we feel like a changing it.

Again, One big Holdem league with a knock-out omaha cup. If there is an odd number the teams finishing top of the league could have a bye into the second round.

We have to be prompt in recruiting as most teams have spaces to fill and are quickly snapping up available players.

Feel free my friends to agree/disagree with the above, they are only suggestions.

Well I was previously vice captain, but due to the problems that I had, I didn't do much for the team. which i'm sorry about.
As i am here alot more now and feel more optimistic, i would like the responsibility again.
But if the team decides otherwise then its fine by me.
