My statement wasnt directed at anybody, least of all you!, was just pointing out what seems to be the right way to do things.

Some things are just common sense -- or, at the very least, common courtesy.

But I believe there are rules regarding this (or will be) now.

Gegs -- I asked you and never felt right about it. They asked me a couple of days after I accepted with you. I wanted your approval first -- and quite honestly, was ready to turn them down. It was others who suggested I talk to you -- so I did.

The one thing I didn't do was pull a cloak and dagger.

This thread began with weary Hovis' gentle threat to chow down on head-hunters' faces. He didn't actually say that there was a rule against poaching (see mr. gegs' post above), but clearly he is discouraging it.

Seems to me that players don't belong to a team as much as the team belongs to the players. That sense is strengthened by comradery and inclusion along the way. If that was never established, breaks down, or a player is just a selfish jerk, then loyalty won't exist. It would be naive to expect it to then govern behaviour.

Meanwhile...I've forgotten entirely my point and believe I will have a lemonade.

Bento, I agree that people need to be happy in their teams, and it's absolutely no good to anyone if members are not happy where they are. However, I do think poaching players from other teams well before the season is over should be discouraged.

After season completion -- go where you please. Or, if you're that unhappy, leave beforehand, but at least be honest and upfront about it to your captain and other team members. Don't leave them in the dark -- especially if you're taking members with you.

My suggestion on how this 'rule' should be defined.

Ok enough. It was a general subject and aimed at fairness within our league, I guess I misinterpreted your passion for an argument.

Do as you wish, but I will place a ruling before league starts, on player movement and this time i wont bend the rules to satisfy all. I have a full roster for October, a bit pointless doing it now.

My last on the subject...."Remember the fun? Stop the arguments or I walk away, i have several think they can run it, i will give them the chance, but not the ones who go behind the scenes, stir and play others off. I have you marked....STOP IT! before you get hurt"
