New League Season 09/10 Info
The Omaha debate has asked many questions and I note some are in the dark as to what's happening (I posted previously). I hope this helps and clarifies a little.
Season2009/10
1. What: Two leagues of 8 teams,
2. Who wins: Top two from each league will enter a round robin decider playing each other once.
3. Who forms each league: Taken from present league finish i.e. Lge A:1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 (15 being replacements) and Lge B:2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 (16 being Ninjas)

Old names, will change for new tables.
4. Format: League A will start on Holdem and league B will start on Omaha. Swop over every two weeks. (We now have a scheduled Omaha table and both have been reduced to 1k buy in)
5. End of season tourneys (league only). We will start with the team knockout cup and then singles (two formats do away with top team player). Now singles is up to you, but I see it as this:-
Top ten Omaha and holdem in separate finals to decide each formats top player and a top ten combined final ( playing both formats), to decide our Champion. If you want the top team player finals please say so, I haven't formatted yet and we have lots of time.
All other tourneys will be kept depending on their success.
Season2010/11
Two leagues, but now a 1st and 2nd Division.
1. Who is each league: The 1st div will be the top 4 finishers taken from both this years leagues 09/10, 2nd Div bottom 4.
2. Promotion/Demotion. The top 2 or 3 from 2nd will be promoted and bottom 2 or 3 from 1st Div relegated (your choice on how many)
3. Tourneys: The league cup will continue and all teams are eligible. Singles I will come up with a format to suit all.
We now have working committees and are as such:
Results/ record compilation, league table updates and registration: Tiandra
Table bookings and allotment: Froggywoman/Tiandra
Referee allocation: woosh
Appeals, discipline and complaints committee: Boozybird, Flyingfinn, Bento and MMxx.
Last but not least Emil is putting 1,000,000 chips in as a prize. Its distribution will be decided at a later date. ty Emil :)
