And with the first proposed format, half of teams are still in
at the stage of the mini-final.

Anyway, those who are out in the current format probably play the very same matches of the the losing bracket in friendlies to kill time unitl the Cup is over. A bit more exciting if there is indeed something at the end...

Pete if your saying 16 teams play 8 go throw 8 go to plate then them 8 play 4 drop down to the plate and the 4 teams that lost in plate go out so plate would still be 8 teams and from there it's complety knock out then that makes perfect sense m8

Its quite simple,if you lose your out.First round losers going into a plate is fair enough.......but teams losing a quarter and going into another comp at that stage is totally outrageous.

jesta makes a good point the pokerpuffs won the 1st game and cause they couldnt field enough players they had to be a replay. cup is off season tournament and i know many teams have difficulty fielding enough players therefore the less games in it the better

Sorry guys my computers been down big time. Ok here goes...

Bats idea was discussed and seemed a good idea and well thought out, ty m8.

However times have moved on. The league knockout cup will be both Omaha and Holdem, thats two games per leg, with total points deciding. If we have a draw (possible) we may require a playoff. We also have a possible holdem and Omaha seperate cup.

The games required will probably fill the off season, so I will re think and suggest a format you can all add to. The result of your wishes will be implemented.
