I want to let the players on the site know that Kiss33 passed away Thursday afternoon, October 15. I'm opening this thread so that players that knew (or didn't know him) can express their condolences to his family and share their comments. Please respect the privacy of the family at this time and limit all expressions of sympathy and acknowledgements to this thread. Thank you.

I met Kiss33 a few months ago on the site. I'll never forget the day a group of us were playing on table one and Kiss33 threw a barbeque. He grilled steaks, and prepared baked potatoes and salad. We all had desert and the drinks of our choice. Kiss33 was chef and server. He was kind like that. It was a wonderful cookout on the site. Are there any players out there who was at the table and remembers that day?

Rest in peace dear David. We're going to miss you terribly here.

News like this only hilight the relationships that we have with one another in a virtual world we only know what the other person is willing to tell us.

Kiss was a good player and a friendly one and will be missed.

My sincere condolences to David's family and friends.

I played cards with him several times. What an awesome guy!

He sat down at a table with me and a couple 'not so friendly' guys. He was a breath of fresh air, being a gentleman and genuinely nice person. Happily the other guys left and David and I chatted quite a bit that evening. He told me he was surprised by how many nice people he had run into here on the tables, and that he really enjoyed meeting and talking with people.

I bet he's playing cards with the angels and has them laughing too.

And just a point I'd like to share..when David went into hospital he took his laptop we were chatting on msn, everytime the nurse came in, the laptop went under the sheets...Imagining this had me laughing...such a wonderful guy...his last msn msg was "see you all when I get home"..

Noticing how affected people have been and seeing the heartfelt posts here, reminds me how, even in small ways, just connecting with each other on this site is such a gift.

For Kiss33, a nice guy from Alabama to touch the heart of so many people from around the world kind of reminds me that time spent on this site (tables, forum or msn) is something special.

Thanks to David for that reminder - your memory will live on, bro.
