I'm gonna have to bow out of the friendly on the 15th. If I play cards 3 days in a row hubby will have a royal fit! LMAO

Peter......the friendly would be great practice for you to try out your new skills that you're learning at the Omaha table. :)

Avast all ye Chippies, I have posted this in the S/S thread.
------------------------------
Hello to all the lovely Sisters of Soul. Your new thread looks great. Wishing you all the best for the upcoming season.

We were wondering if you would like to play a friendly (Omaha or Holdem) between your selves and the Chipmates ?

Omaha friendly vs. Smokin' Aces, Sunday, Nov. 15th, 10 pm UK time, 5 pm eastern, 4pm central, 3 pm mountain, 2 pm pacific, and 7 am Monday in oz, 6 am G.

Like Petie -- can't play on Sunday after playing Fri, Sat (hubby's got the poker frown on lately).

Anyone else available to play this? So far we only have G and pete -- need a couple more at least before I'll confirm this match with true.

This is a friendly, doesn't count toward league points, so it's a perfect time to get some omahaha practice in if anyone wants to play.

2:00 pm for you, Pete.

Way I see it, Victoria came came after the Queen, as we had many before her, So therefore Queensland has the historical input to form Victoria and has retained its native culture (mainly cos they had bows and arrows longer). So suffice to say, Victoria represents a modern Aussie culture where as Queensland retains its native links.

I want to gooooooooooo native

HOVIS
Id gladly extend an invite to you to visit Queensland, however your not allowed to bring wildlife in without 6 months quarantine, so as a reward for you I have found the definition of Graham in the Urban Dictionary:

A tall handsome and utterly f**k worthy dude that has no place on this earth as it is entirely beneath him. Women fall at his feet and are often found exploding in orgasm as he may pass them by.
"Whoa dude is that a 'Graham'?"

"Yeah, what's he doing on earth, I thought he was like on another level"
"Oh my god I think I just came"

I found 1 for Hovis.

Hovis is a word meaning "unwholesome" or basically not good for the soul.

Pami,
Wishing you all good wishes for your new job. I am sure you will be a real success.

Looking forward to game but would be very happy to give up my seat to Peter so that he can familiarise himself with our team play.

Your decision Skipper and I wont mind in the least dusting off the old pompoms that Pami lent me.

Hi Roy,

Very nice of you, but Peter is pacific time (1:00 pm) for this game, and he is only available to play weekends due to work.

So drop those pompoms and head on over to the table. xxx

PAMI -- good luck with the new job, darling. Work hard but don't forget to have fun too.

Actually -- did pook confirm for the VP friendly, Swamp? If not, I'll sit in, think it's work day for pook Friday at 2 pm mountain time. Anyway, no worries either way, I'll be there to sub.

Oh, and hey, hubby hovis -- nice of you to drop in. Always a pleasure. xx

Thank you Den. A big well done to you too.

Great game team Chippies, very proud of you all too.
Thank you El Capitano, I just got lucky with some cards at the end.
(but I will accept the peck on the cheek)
Ok, lets keep this winning feeling going into the season.

Don't forget that tomorrows game is 1 hr later than todays.
Todays game started at 8am my time G (I think), so that would be 7am for you, so tomorrows should be at 9am/8am. Be on early to make sure. :)
