Sorry again for missing the start of the game. I couldn't believe it when the principal called an inpromptu meeting as I was walking out the door. If I had just left 5 minutes earlier she wouldn't have caught me!

Well done team.....looked like the cards were iffy until the end there for swamp and then they fell right.

THANKS for the well wishes on the new job. Its a bit more than I was looking for but should be an interesting job. Jake isn't thrilled, he doesn't like change and he really likes it when Mom is always there when he needs me! So it will be an adjustment for all of us. The kids are gonna have to step it up here at home helping with the laundry and other chores. And its going to be an adjustment for Marc too....won't be able to just call me at the last minute for help at the car lot. BUT the weekly check will be worth all the adjustments! LOL

An excellent game this morning Chippies, cant believe Peter and Pook were newbies, what a pair, I think we have found two Omaha whizzes in these two. From a personal point I found this mornings game an experience which I enjoyed (apart from losing with a A high flush!) but Omaha is definately a good game - just need practice.

Just received an invitation to my niece & nephew's combined birthday party for the 21st. Typical of my sister in law to wait until the last minute before planning anything!

Our team practice is set for 5pm my time and the party starts at 6pm...and it is about a 15 minute drive to their house. But I think I have hubby convinced we don't need to get there right on time. So I should be able to play for about an hour. And I also wondered if I might be able to click sit out, drive there and log back in on one of their computers and start playing again? Maybe if you guys play slow it will give me time? Well, we'll have to see then I guess.

This isn't something I can get out of completely so trying to work around it if possible.

Just wanted to post this to lay some relief on all our worried chips -- so great to know he's okay.

Hey guys, been a while.

Many apologies for going AWOL - hopefully it won't happen again.
To cut a long story short, I was undergoing a routine knee operation, and I apparently developed various blood clot and heart stopping problems !!!
I won't bore you with the details (you may have just eaten), but suffice to say I'm back on board and raring to hit the tables once again.

Hope you've all been happy and healthy, looking forward to getting in touch with you all soon.

And whilst I'm in the rabbiting mood (which isn't often for us strong silent types) you guys are my best friends in the whole world - that's pretty sad when you think about it, but I don't care.
