Calling all Australian residents - how about a tourney to find the best player in the country, I will organise it and instead of a knock-out hopefully we can play a few matches for points etc - similar to league - your thoughts appreciated.

Eventually we could challenge other countries so get your socks on all you non Aussies, were coming for you - which country is the world champion.

Also this thread is not intended to upsurp the Nations Cup, just want to start something new, so all Aussies put your names below - list closes midnight December 31st 2009.

GP - How about you organise a North American team, maybe do a state by state knock out and end up with a team of State champions? I know the Australians would gladly take on any team you colonials could muster!
As your island is slightly larger has a couple more blokes and shielas on it, maybe you could communicate with the dingos on the West Coast and have one of them organise a Western Champion. Good Luck - your gonna need it - lol

I'm an Aussie citzen, so I'd be proud to play for the Aussies - the UK players will have more than enough in their squad.

I hope there is a UK team an American team (which includes Canda) and a Euro one for the rest - it'll make the thing more do-able ... people from other parts of the world can be adopted by the four big squads.
