NW Ron, I referred the decision to Hovis because he stated the UK had to be split up and as its his league (as it says on the front page) I assumed all major decisions (to be free of contraversy) should go thru him, its not my place to make a call on who plays for who but I didnt want countries joining (like the US and Canada) we will never find the best country is a squad is made up of 3 or 4 neighbours all together. Very difficult to have the world champs be crowned (for example Israel, Egypt & Syria with Jordanian subs).

Never having been to Belguim I have no idea they were/are that close to Holland (been to Amsterdam and Den Helder in the 70's - bit of a alcoholic blur). If Tia and Vincent G are happy, who am I to object - just thought they'd like their own identity.

The number of players per country is up for discussion on Friday, it is my thought (and thought only) that larger populated countries (US / UK) will have far superior numbers and in order for as many ppl as possible to play I (personally) would be happy with multiple teams from the same country on condition that these teams of 10 do not interchange players between themselves and are basically locked, once the 10 names for each team is nominated, thats it for the series, so in retrospect if you can find 20 (or less) as long as you field at least 5 per match, I see no reason why you cant have 2 teams. However should you go down this track and have 2 teams and the meeting on Friday approves this, your teams will be locked (at present you dont have enough, I would suggest the minimum number for 2 teams would be 14 players (2 teams of 7)
