SCORING IN WORLD CUP MATCHES

Hi all scoring in your upcoming World Cup matches will be the same as the league with an additional 5 points for the winning team (as decided at the Captains meeting in December.)

So First person out = 0
2nd person out = 0
3rd person out = 1
4th person out = 2
5th person out = 3
6th person out = 4
7th person out = 5
8th person out = 6
9th person out = 8
winning player = 10

So the maximum number of point to be scored by a winning team is 38

Should a entire team fail to turn up, regardless of the reason, the other team will be awarded 38 points.

Both Captains are to keep score and post in http://www.thefreepokerroom.com/forum/5_4842_1.html - remember what you post is what you will be awarded DO NOT FORGET THE 5 POINTS FOR A WIN

Be nice to have at least a translation into usa eastern times to make it easier for us central, mountain and west coast peeps to better know when games r played :)

Saturday is 6:30 pm east coast time sunday is 8:00 pm east coast time. I listed these times in my last post, i see how they are kinda hard to see, lol. I'm new to this stuff so please be patient and remember chefbuddy is our captain so if i make a mistake its his fault-lol.

I talked to placer and we decided to post our matches and our pratice in uk time as that is how we will recieve them . if you need to know what time that is in your time ,go to the TABLE BOOKINGS 2009-2010 ,when you open that thread you will see a clock ,,click it and it will show you how to figure out what time in your time the match or pratice will be,once youve done it you will know the difference for future refrence.

Could and would play on saturday, but dont know if it would be a good idea. I am new to "team" play, and it would probably be wise to first attend the sunday (all usa 2 team) play. But, Chef and Placer, if you need me or think its ok for me to play on saturday, then I will (since its only a "practice" match against the aussies). Anyway, I will attend our sunday game.
