To be clear this is the reason im stepping down:

This is not as simple as me meddling. I was the person who was the captain of the entire England team it was me who decided who went to each team and took my time out to organise it and ensure both teams had equally strong players with a decent balance.

I then made 2 people Vice Captain 1 for each team Birdy and Smoggy. After Birdy left no one said they wanted to be new Captain. I then choose Sky to be the new captain. I spoke to meember about coming to patriots and i even went out of my way to ensure the team kept their stronger players.

When Sky left i thought about who would be the best person for the job. I new it couldnt be some1 who was already a captain of a league team as ive spoken to few people who are captains of two teams and the general feeling i its too much work. I was aware that jackhighjo had organised the valentine day games well and i thought she would give the team 100%. So i asked her to be new captain. i then emailed Graham to ensure sewod be llowed to captain who sent email toall captians for approval.

Its only afterr all this i spoke to gaz who asked me and me being me told him. he went and i assume told the whole team and then denisey posted. I then replied explaining my position.
Then harrison got me on msn and i explained taht i didnt want to go back onmy and explained the above and said that both England teams were always considered as 1, so that if we got neww meembers they could be designated the team that needds them most by me. Although i now know based on the pats reaction this does not . After explaining all this to harrison he added gaz and deville to msn. i explained all this to them too.

I didnt want to go back on my word which i have been forced to do and i have been undermined and feel embarrased.

So i have decided to step down as captain from all teams. Cant be arsed with the drama it was meant to be fun and i worked hard to ensure the WC would succeed

im not sure ann ie jackhijoe wants the job, we need to get our heads together to disguss this team, i will then nominate smoggy to be the captain he does a fab job with the untouchables and im sure he can carry on the success he has bought to our team very well here

I think you've done a spectacular job managing both teams, your input at the Captains meeting was excellent and I (personally) consider you one of the nicer Poms I've ever met (tic) I hope you continue to play for England, you are a skillful player and a great adversary.

England Pats and Royals: Great leaders are hard to find, look deep within yourselves as a team and pick someone who can continue the great work Mac has started, if nothing else you owe it to Mac, my 2 cents worth would be for Hovis to be one Captain - he is experienced and skilled (although he may not want it) and finally - do it for ENGLAND!

as a new team member i have kept out of this,as the basic politics were way before i joined,so have no comment on the matter.

that said no one likes to see any member of a team leave capt or not,and i wish mac all the best for the future,i am SURE he will be sadly missed.

i will say that i myself have no problem with the smogster taking over..aslong as he lets me win at very least TWO 1 on 1s with him lmao...
