You seem to be having problems getting a team together to play your match against Canada, now I know this was all put together to foster international relations etc, but there are rules, you have (according to the Team List) 9 team members:

You even had enough numbers(7) to play Canada on the day it was cancelled - don't know what's going on or why it was cancelled (Tincat's computer probs?). In addition the rules are clear - no member of the Cavaliers can play for the Warriors.
And I've just seen Dickwillywyatt's post that he's withdrawing from the team, that means you have 8. The Captains meeting before the start of the competition made these rules - not me personally. Personally I want to see this game played but will not allow any rules to be changed to benefit any team (Australia played Benedutch with 4 players a few days ago) so why cant you. And as a matter of note it is your responsibility to organise a date and book a table as HOME team, not Canada's.
And don't think I'm picking on you, I am not, I am trying to be fair to everyone (the rules are being formed over this tournament and will be quite clear in time for the next one).

some members who applied to play for celts have not committed themselves to the best of their abilitiy.. all i can do is apologise on their behalf for the inconvenience this has caused.
will do my upmost to get a team together before the 15th feb to play canada.

i believe that tincat thought it was best to cancel the game as she was having computer problems and she was unable to be there to pick a team.....due to panda leaving tinny and i have tried to keep the celts going as not to let anyone down.... i have asked johno and warburtons to step in and help out due to my workload..... a big thankyou to you both

I'm offline for 10 days with a poorly PC and come back to this. I have read all the threads and these are my views:

Nightwriter - I am sorry that I had to cancel our league game. In answer to your question, I didn't cancel because I was unable to play. I cancelled because I had already been offline for a number of days and I was unable to captain my team. As a captain yourself I am sure you don't just limit your team contribution to playing. To me being a captain is about organising the team, getting the team together and picking the playing team, in the days before the game. Nowhere did I say it was about me not being able to play. As I said I was offline for days beforehand. I know it was very late notice to cancel the game - I had to borrow someone's laptop for me just to be able to post in the forum, or I wouldn't have been able to cancel it at all. Yes I need to organise the game and yes I will do it.

G50 - I am sorry that you have had a lot of earache about this, all because my PC got a virus. At least there is now a plan of action for next this happens in a team. Yes I absolutely agree that this league was set up for fun and I think some people may have forgotten that along the way. Thank you for allowing us a further 10 days to play the game.

Is this a team? I know I haven't been here for 10 days but wow. Talk about a sinking ship. Right, I would appreciate all Warriors who still care about this team to post their commitment again please, clearly some Warriors have forgotten their original pledge to play for the team.

If it seems that we don't have enough players then there won't be a team. Simples.
