The committee has had a hard time on this one. They were doing as they thought best and didn't need pilloried. As we have lost two members and to save them further grief, It is time to go to the original concept that I implemented and use captains to judge on these decisions. You have all posted that approval.

We need a head to start a captains msn. I want a moderator to do that. They will be responsible for collating meetings and posting any judgements. There is no conflict of interest and don't even say it. You can vote on that later, but for now:-

My thoughts and at the time.

Captain didn't know about the players sharing same i.p., players denied using same ip. Rules were gray in this area. However we have doubt and that's what u rule on.

My thoughts are: take away players points earned and give them first and second out that's 0pts, move all others up. Table will look like this:

Here is my recollection of the events:

On 19th of Februrary, 2010 the Pokerpuffs played the Chipmates in our Omaha League Match. I had lined up Sepheryn to sub for us. I was on MSN before the match talking to Rich/dickwillywyatt and mentioned that Seph wasn't online yet and Roy/kindergarden had been up all night celebrating the Chineese New Year. I was very worried that we might need to find another sub. He said he might be able to get his brother to sub for us. Soon Sepheryn came online and Roy was awake and able to play.

We were ready to play the match with Seph as our sub when Nightwriter mentioned that they were short one. She had already asked Sepheryn and he told her he was already playing for us. Rich had tracked down his brother thebeaver so he was available to sub. We had used thebeaver before in a hold'em friendly as a sub and he did very well. We were seriously considering asking him to join the team. Still, I was hesitant to use him to sub for us in a league omaha match. Reluctantly, I let the Chipmates have Seph and we used thebeaver.

We ended up winning the match and thebeaver played very well (unfortunately, I feel him doing so well is why they believe he must have cheated). We ended up asking him to join the Puffs and he accepted. On the 26th of February Tia caught me online to ask me if Rich and Chris (dickwillywyatt and thebeaver) played on the same team in the match with the Chipmates. I told her yes. I then asked her if thebeaver needed to change his league name to match his forum name. She said no they didn't have to be the same, but that she had noticed an issue with their IP addresses. My heart sank and I felt sick. She told me that when thebeaver first posted to join the league he had a seperate IP address, but that in two forum posts, the IP address was the same as dickwillywyatt. I immediately asked Rich and Chris what was going on. They assured me that Chris had only used Rich's computer to post in the forum when he was at Rich's house but that he played the matches at home. I believed/believe them, but also decided that I didn't think he should play on our team. I didn't want any doubt as to our playing fair and honestly.

On the 28th of February, without warning, the league committee posted in our thread their ruling on our case. A case I didn't even know they were discussing.

i have spoken with a few members of my team and we feel if chipmates and pokerpuffs

After all your hard work I sincerely hope that the league continues to flourish but I wont be playing any more, I suggest you ask Woosh for his opinion because I would imagine that he will take over the hooves captaincy.
