THE CASE: Macedonia Against the England Royals

ZAM HAS MADE THE FOLLOWING CASE:

I have to publish this and WC teams, captains and members. please post your oppinion about this actual problem from R8

match Macedonia vs England Royals

1. 1 unregistered player asked to be registered in their own thread only ,( not in registration thread) , played for England Royals R8,
2. 1 player asked for registration on 27th of april, played on 28th of April R8 for England Royals

3. At least 1 player of England Royals checked has enabled MSN during the match

4. Macedonia was home team, had to sit first, England Royals sat first, no one of players wanted to stand up on call to stand up. as sign of good will Macedonian team sat second, and made mistake showing a good will, when noticed all irregularitties later!!

Zam and Macedonia,

I have spoken to Smoggy and MacDaddy this morning and have made a decision, basically as the rules were not displayed anywhere (as you know I was amending them as each problem came up in preparation for the 2011 WC and to ensure it went smoothly)

So I have reverted the scores to what they were at the end of the match - this is 100% my fault, I cannot enforce rules that no-one knows about, so I am the one who stuffed up, please accept my apologies, I just hope you don't come 2nd by 8 points.

The rules are now displayed and I request Zam look over them and if any suggestions (apart from shooting me) come to mind please respond in the thread.

PS crazyman is unlcebulgaria and has played 6 matches for the royals already

so do u think that u didnt know nothing about the rules of WC, or u accepted the rules that were part of agreement when all of us agreed when join the WC and all the captains... (and part of team memebers) knew about

England Royals Case:

We won against Macedonia fair and square. Then Zam complained about us using unregistered players. We read of this complaint the next day, When Graham decided by himself to deduct our points and them to Macedonia.

Complaint was of crazyman and boxycatt

Me and Smoggs msned Graham and explained to him the following:

1. I asked for the rule he mentioned as i had never seen it anywhere. I explained i was in the original formation of the league meeting and there was no such rule. He said he couldnt fin the rule
2. Crazyman is bauldy he just changed his name
3. He registered on the 14th before round started Anyway as the round started on the 19th
4. Boxycatt registered day before she in smoggs niece and smoggs was there he could have played had we known the rule.
5. Msn- players in the past have left msn on accidently. If we deduct for this loads of teams would lose points.
6. We sat 1st come on this is meant to be fun. When the celts had an issue i advocated they play again for the betterment of the league as it was meant to be fun.

After given Graham all these points he said he could find link so he would not deduct points. Me and smoggs thanked him and left it at that, we were it was zam who complained but we didnt want to make an issue of it

next day Graham post again and say hes deucting points. It was then the team were disgusted at his blatant abuse of power and resigned.

During the captains meeting and formation meeting this rule WAS NEVER discussed. We agreed all decsions would be captains decsions. A they were in the Canada case and the cobra moving team case. If Graham had added/amended rules on his own, he should created a new thread to let the captains know, it cant be the the Captains fault if these amendment were not posted.

I urge all captain to make the ruling foe the betterment of the league. This is meant to be FUN. I advocated this during previous case that punishment and point docking is extreme as we want all to be happy with the WC.

Captain choices are the following

1. Keep Original Score
2. Dock the Royals 6 points for Brainbox points go to macedonia
3. Dock the Royals 11 points for Crazy and Brainbox points go to macedonia

CAPTAINS DECISION

As a captain, I am not clear on why a captain's vote was called by a non-captain. Where is smoggy in all of this? Is he not the captain of the Royals and therefore should be addressing this issue, not mac?

It was due to th suggestions in the other thread and to quickly resolve the issue (I know mods like issues to be dragged on for months). But if you don't want it resolved then just leave it Im getting to a stage where I'm not bothered

Mac...as far as I see, you are able to do all the dragging and what not all by yourself. Do not get us mods into this mess.

Second point...you being no cap yourself...I believe you are addressing an issue that you should not. So not a point of getting things solved faster, but meddling with stuff you shouldn't.

Maybe you should let G and the WC cap crew sort their problems.

After speaking with my team we have reached the conclusion that the royals played the game with two unregistered players. Upon looking on the WCM team threads we found niether of these players were even listed on the team as of the 20th of april. Team USA2 has four players on our team that had to wait to play as those were the rules in place at the time , so we cannot act as though it doesn't matter if you are registered or not .As far as name changes goes well that should have been approved through registration also, as far as we are concerned Graham is in charge of this league until he says he isn't.So we believe that the points these players scored should not be counted and if the Macedonia team agrees then that should be the end of it. If the Royals cannot live with the rules as we have then so be it. I would welcome a meeting with the captains of the teams that have yet to play the Royals to discuss a fair point system to use to finish the season.We dont feel giving them 21 points is right.

Well lets see what Graham will post here, as i do respect him with all the work he done for this wc... Lets give him a chance with the capts to find a workable solotion on this case and see where this went wrong......Cause if I read this correct Graham says...you make a casptsmeeting and ill resign? (Please correct me if I am wrong could be me being dutch to interpertate this wrong..)
If thats true, I cant understand cause other problems were also voted by, in captmeeting so why not this one...

night i have been posting in a othere thread if you care to check and read,. Mac was previous cap befor me and original when these rules were suppose to of been discused so thats why he is posting. So leve this thread for the cap's to have there say on what out come is and leve it too gso to see if he wants to stick with what he says or what eva the other cap's say. Thanx

The Captains had started to vote and now its turned into a slanging match again... bloody pack it in..

lets all vote the way our teams prescribe and sort out any problems before the start of next season with a captains committee...

I have personally spoken to ZAM and he speaks for the macedonians.... they will abide by any democratic decision the captains agree in this thread... And they want an end to this and the Royals back to finish the season... Lets just vote and discuss this later...

As I said in the other thread.. I am not going to say anymore unless its a joint statement from Captains and G, so if you all want to carry on bickering and playing one upmanship then do it without me either as a captain or playing in WC at all.. what was a great tournament wonderfully organised by G and others is being ruined....

Look, I was contacted by captains who are concerned about how this vote was brought about. So I posted.

Honestly? I'm just tired of the finger-pointing that's been going on lately toward anyone who puts an effort in. Do as you all wish.

I wanted this sorted thats why i posted here, Graham said Someone organise a Captains Meeting please? then zix said please organise the meeting as agreed. Ask you Captain I think is the way. If you cannot do this, you will lose respect and I could only assume you have some other agenda.

So i started this thread to try and get it resolved (like smoggs said i was the before and during the meeting where the supposed rules were broken). Me and Smoggs spoke and said we would abide by this decsision. Voting was going ok half the teams had voted. It was going to be over.

Tia kindly edited the thread removing my, hers and mights 1st comments so it was completely captains votes and reason in here. But it upto all if they want this thread to continue or cancel it. Whatever

night i am not having a go at you, i want this sorting with out any bitterness! Mac may thought having this thread so cap's can post there decision instead of going into a msn convo were things tend to get out of hand! As mac says what eva cap's decisions we will abide by just get this sorted so we can all move on? Am sick to death of name calling and all nastyness been around of late
