Ok guys as you can see this is your tournament. It does carry a message, thats why we decided to call it The Aretha Cup. If you click the picture you can listen to a song.

The message is all about RESPECT and how we treat and talk to people on the tables and the forum. There is too much bad blood about at the moment, so we hope this tournament will go along way to rebuild relations amongst us.

If successful I hope to carry it over to next year.

Im so happy about this one :-) i guess it works a little bit like the gold cup,
I guess everyone gets 5 games to play and then the top 20 with points play in the Semi groups.
that's how it looks if you look on the boxes, 5 games each and top 20 for the semi finals.

HOWEVER Because of the late interest I'm going back into discussion as to where we can take this. Whether we can extend it or not.

My whole concept of creating this Beast was to reunite everyone to get some R.E.S.P.E.C.T back into tfpr following recent outbursts and continuing abuse at tables.

So to conclude: Keep posting if you are interested and all applicants will be concidered.

"No bugz, its totally individual. I t will perform just like the normal leagues and world cup but with a twist. When I have enough names you will be drawn into a group of 10, these 10 people will play about 5 games ( amount not decided yet) over a period of about 5-6 months ( again not decided yet ).

When the 5 games are up the top 5 point scorers of that league will proceed to another group of 10 people. This is where it changes, this will then become a one of match with the top 5 again going through to the final table.

Johno, 'Round 1' will consist of 5 matches. The 'Semi' will then be 1 match, is that right? Maybe the Semi should be held over more than match? I might have gone for 3 matches in each round. Just a thought. Good luck with it Robbie, I look forward to playing.

As it stands Zixx Yes the group stage will consist of 5 individual games, so that you get a running total.

At the moment the 5 from each group will go through to a semi final place. the semi-final will consist of 1 game only as will the Final.

However as posted above the maths of it will change because of some more interest. I really want to include everyone, but I need to have a meeting to discuss this.

If you can get enough to add a 5th group and the top four from each go to semi, your format could remain the same with little disruption.

Jamie yes it was the Dogs that drew it out, but they kept on eating the meat flavoured numbered balls. So I got Tia to do it on a random selector ( computer program)

Ok we have a full house now. tincat is the last one.

As a result there will now be 5 groups.

Each group will play 5 games.

Top 4 will go through to knock-out stage into the semi goup.

Top 5 from each semi group will move to Final table.

Good luck now you can start to do some homework on your opponents.

I will update you more at a later date, so keep an eye open for further posts.
